Very interesting site! Reading about the Rosemary was charming! I read that one once and decided to try it - burning dried Rosemary ......... had it in a container and let it smoulder........... It let off such thick clouds of black smoke that left only a 2ft clearance at ground level! No wonder its a Mosquito repellent ........ nothing can see or smell anything!

I was married during that episode - and had done the Rosemary burning thing in the bedroom. Husband came out of the bathroom, into this hovering black haze, and was alarmed that he`d gone blind!

So I struck that one off my list (both the Rosemary and that husband) ... and found that the "Rose Geranium" pertussed in Olive Oil worked the best, or just Citronella oil mixed with Olive oil - at least there`s no resemblance to a distraught crude-oil tanker having gone up in flames!cheers

D'oh! ..... Oh, the guys on this site! I think I`m cancelling this island jaunt!!!! Absolutely no-one who is Big Macho Food Provider, or Inventor of Cooking Utensils, or House Building .... They all want to make bras and knickers!!!!
