Had huge discussion today between roomie and me.

Short version:

If your girlfriend sleeps with another girl... would you find it as wrong/bad/hurting as if she slept with a man?!

Be honest you guys!! How would you FEEL...

Having lived in and experienced some of the 'notorious' areas of Paris and having known many of the girls, no. No big deal at all. It happens for a variety of reasons and doesn't usually detract from the affection or love felt for the man . IF it persists, especially with one other woman, then it MIGHT be a problem , otherwise, shrug it off she is still hereto sexually only interested in her man; girl on girl flings are a part of life...and the beat goes on...

We did some posts on this group a year ago or so over their disruption of a soldier KIA in Iraq. They stormed his funeral .....and by some bizarre twist of fate, none of of the family or soldiers there laid a finger on them....how could they not, I'll never understand
Now with Pita , makes me wonder how many of their members might belong to that so called 'church'....some people, really just need killing.IMO

Hallo Trish! Delighted for you and wish you the best!! Just remember to savour it all; the value of life isn't measured by the amount of time you get, but by how well you enjoy what you have...or at least that is the optimist's outlook.

It's summer; the baning rate goes up for several reasons, mostly because people can't, and won't be discreet and lose their short tempers like on the US forums. Every summer it is the same, besides people taking needed vacations or get lost in some lost and forgotten bar in their own twilight zones...

LOL! I have one set that has been used and written on twice as back grounds to give the impression of total nut case on 2 members of my family many years ago. I took them (inherited) as I really like them and would not part with them for anything. They are the entire works of the author Sax Rohmer who wrote all the infamous ever so politically very wrong Fu Manchu novels back in the 20's and 30's. The works do stand out on the shelves from their bindings; most signed and numbered. The reporters learned well what to look for during an interview and for photos to insinuate that the person is a nut case. Old tactic to watch out for. With my own collections,(in the thousands) depending on which room they were in, they could have a field day; both the men in white coats with butterfly nets along with SWAT teams could be called for. And if not the books, then the Napoleonic cannon at the head of the stairs would do it. It is primed and loaded. To fire it, I'd have to remove one cat from the barrel that likes to curl up in it...I love collecting strange items...%D

Does your 'new church' have a name? Does it have any hymns?
Does it take collections at any meetings and if so, what do you collect?
Do you do any type of 'charity work'? Bored minds, simple minds and those who may not even have a mind of their own need to know; they would need specifics...lots of details.... now is your chance to throw some light on your church and no, not by flashlight, please!
Go for it!%D

Well, I meant that to be taken as something to be done at home, within intimate parameters, and NOT having drinks/coffee at the pub!

And as for it working the other way 'round, can't exactly say, cos I'm not a man, (and some people do have their fetishes) but I don't think so! As En-Silencio said, don't know why, but I feel (Oslo too!) that the woman in *his old shirt* does work for both. I believe that it enhances, somehow, the masculinity in the male. Can't actually see it happening the other way 'round though, mmm my man in a skirt..?? NO thanks!

Perhaps that's why the Rocky Horror Film Fest has never been as popular here as in North America...%D Great fun! No , I didn't mean sitting around in public places...but then again, we do have cafes for the 'transies' and the 'pansies' of course...
You're probably right about most women not being very comfortable sitting around while her man admires her in his ol' shirt while he's wearing her whatevers...either too small or too tight in most cases; damn garter belts do leave marks around one's waist and one usually ruins the waist bands on her slip or panties...%D ! But it's fun trying....

I was very fortunate to have purchased a charcoal on wood item once at a yard sale in Phila. Out of curiosity, I took it to an art dealer to see if it was worth anything, hearing rumors of outlandish discoveries by people at these sales.

Lo and behold..it was indeed a find!!! It was a self portrait of Bertrund Russell. Worth several thousand dollars!! I later started buying many charcaol on wood pieces. I find them "comforting" somehow

Just a thought

People throw out most anything...even when they SHOULD know better; my own mother 'cleaned house' in Paris before she sold it and threw out dozens of pencil, charcoal and oil sketches by many of the famous artists from the 20's to the late 30's that she had known there. Luckily I was there and took them back as I had liked many of them since childhood.
I once threw out one of my own paintings....the garbage etc. was picked up but they left my painting behind after a few of the workers looked at it; they threw it back in a can and left....%D Aww well....
But poking around dumps and plying the very rich areas as well as the 'artists areas' here, can at times really pay off well! People are very stupid at times with what they throw out...

So true: as *unsexy* as it might sound wearing *your old shirt*, that is exactly something which I really think does make a woman feel really good and sexy (I know I do). i.e. Wearing *her* man!...

Sexiness is not just make up and micro mini-skirts... It is *attitude* and creativity...

I like the last sentence concerning 'Sexiness'; so very true.
The 'birthday suit' mode leaves nothing to the imagination I find and using one's imagination is all part of the ambiance of sexiness as a whole. Some days if I'm on the roof painting or on a balcony I can easily see nude, sunbathing women lying around in a small field in the English Garden out back...nothing unusual at all as this is normal and has been for years.
As for a woman 'wearing her man'...could that ever really work for a man to 'wear' his woman while sitting around having coffee or drinks....he has her garter belt on, or her slip....%D now this is either lurid or hilarious imagination...better yet, each wearing each other....everyone being equal and liberated etc. etc. %D

Ciao Magic!

Yes, imaginative entwinting combitions can vividly vex one's mind,
as in to grasp the fullness of asking the question:
Here's one of my version of Hamlet's Omelet; act 3 scene 1

To be oral or not to be aural, that is the question!
Oh but it is a conundrum to be sure for both
albeit in different volumes doth give both man and woman their
Pleasures and their pains...
Whether tis nobler in the mind or the loin
to suffer her pangs of ecstasy or
her arrows of never ending words of meaningless small talk;
or words and sounds of outrageous fortunes of lusts unchained...
Or of taking our arms and entwine our legs around our heads and
thus by orally filling ourselves bring ourselves to gasping
exhaustion---
To talk, to listen, or to nibble and lick---------
No more and by a tongue lashing to say we end.
That conumbrum and the thousands of natural pleasures
That our flesh and minds are heir to; tis a total consumation
Devoutly hungered for to finally roll over and rest, to perchance
sleep!
To sleep, perchance to be orally awakened rather than aurally---
Ay, there's the rub both metaphorically and literally;
For in that sleep of lustful inebriation what
Pleasures may be given, lost, enjoyed or merely tolerated--------
Must give us pause--there's the respect
That makes calamity of any relationship!
For who surrenders to the whips of pleasures
Neither is wrong, both proud to give and to receive...
The pangs of love, the delays of passions,
The insolence of arousal by aural and oral awareness;
That patient indulgence takes,
When he or she might quietus make
To grunt and sweat under a frenzied lust
Encouraged by words of inspirational endearments
Or minimized by the inane chatter of dullards'
While being properly handled by wisps of silken touch--------
But the dread of awkward silences in static prose...
But the Ecstasies of our undiscovered countries
From whose exotic tastes become
A most jubilant addiction from which
No travellers wish to depart from,
Puzzles those that have neither oral nor aural skills...
Cry Redemption! And let slip the tongues of pleasures! %D

Well Irish...you are right: its entrapment, basically. You could say its murder. I don't see the sport in it. Some folks, I think, just love guns and shooting and want something "living" to shoot at....some primeval instinct inside of humans that makes them want to kill something. For others, its simply exercising their "right" to hunt. They dont care what they actually hunt, they just want to *hunt*....no real easy answer for ya girl.....

Totally in agreement. To go after any animal not for the sake of having food to eat is just simple killing. A number of learned skills are needed to actually hunt animals for food though some use those same skills simply to kill for sport or to satisfy some perverse pleasure in killing anything that basically can't defend themselves against someone armed with a weapon, be it a firearm or bow, etc.
Hunting is and always has been primarily for foods; survival, otherwise it is simply a form of senseless murder.
I too lost my interest in any hunting after seeing animals mowed down for sport with automatic fire. Sick.

Long overdue to the general clergy I say. Fortunately I've had members of different Orders including nuns who have always had this positive attitude regarding all sexual matters for couples and singles both before marriage and afterwards. Long overdue.
