That's what counts...the quality of the relationship, not the ages of the people involved. My answer just looking at the title was: there's nothing wrong with it. Age is a number. If you have a lot in common, and you have a great relationship, then who cares the age difference?

I agree! I have dated those that are older and younger than I. As long as the relationship is good and you care for each other, then why does it matter what others think......then again they might be jealousconfused

They have small minds. Love knows no age boundaries, nor does it have any race, gender, religious, geographical, time, or political boundaries. Those limitations are put on by the people themselves, but unfortunately for you they consider what is good for the goose is good for the gander, and they feel that they have to point that out to you.

Why not come back to them with this: In the Muslim religion, an age for a good wife is half the age of the man plus 7 years.professor

Fluently: I can barely handle my native tongue, American English.

I can make a fool out of myself in 8 languages: British English, French, German, Spanish, Latin, Russian, Turkish (Persian), and American English.

I can speak a few sentences in each and understand more when spoken to me. I can read French, German, Latin, Spanish, and both Englishes.

I have been single for the most of the last 13 years. I could live my life very much alone (and have for the most part) but that does not keep me from trying to find that someone. It is that hope that keeps my interest alive. I refuse to believe that there is not someone for me, because if there were not what the hell am I doing here. It is because of this hope I have found some very interesting friends, that for the most part keep me sane a majority of the time, and when I am not they rescue me from myself.

There are times I might give up looking, but I never give up hope.comfort

For me it happened when I bought a house, yes it was a real life changing experience.

I went from being a social person to being a hermit, for I bought a house to fix up and call my own. Everything that I was changed practically overnight including not traveling nearly as much anymore. Being that travel is a great love of mine, and the lack of social contact with others led to great often suicidal depression.

Which was your most life-changing experience???????: click here to read the entire thread »

If you were to meet someone on a dating site that you had strong feelings for, would you go out of your way to travel to see him/her?

Personally I would as long as it felt right. That's just me though.

Define strong feelings: Love or hate?

If it is love, then there would be no doubt that I would. I could not sit idly by and wonder if I just missed the greatest person in the world.

If it is hate, probably not, unless I needed to understand how this person thinks. Not for revenge or any of that, but to understand why I would hate them.

Hi somechick.........Sometimes people say that they are your friends...........but when they show their true colours.....ie....setting down rules, regulations, limits and making demands.......then they are not......

But on occasion we have had to do that to get the person to understand when they will not listen to what we perceive as the truth.
