solitarius Forum Posts

I wrote this yesterday....thought it might apply a little here as well....

I look at our nations economy down the tubes and see the government bailing out banks, mortgage lenders, insurance companies, regular companies, along with talking about buying up individual mortgages. You know what that is telling us? WE DO NOT HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE, THE GOVERNMENT WILL BAIL US OUT. Whether you choose Obama or you choose McCain we appear to be heading toward communism anyway.

Why do I say that? Because either way our taxes are paying to bail out other people. Personally, I do not want to bail out that person whom had a $500,000 mortgage. I do not care one whit about them. They screwed up because they bought more than they could afford (or in many cases ever need) and now they have to face the consequences. Why should we take on their debt? Hell, I have enough of my own, I do not need someone else's compounding my own. Nor do I want to bail out that individual that will not work. I have NO PROBLEMS helping out a person down on his luck, because he lost his job due to any number of reasons (everyone here who knows me should know that by now), or the person whom has a job but does not pay enough to provide the necessities.

However, letting the government bail us out will lead us to them being even more involved with our lives. Which is the very last thing in this world I care about happening. Watch and see, because eventually there will be laws that will allow you to bank only at a government authorized bank, buy government authorized insurance, shop at a government authorized store, etc. etc.

So, too me it really is all the same, it does not matter if you are Democrat or Republican, the government is going to end up controlling our lives anyway..... We are the modern Rome, and we are in decline.

Yeah I agree sometimes it is a bit much, Mindful. However, I also agree with Daisy, that we are all friends and a little bit of a family here so to ask those question it is not hard to do. Yeah sometimes we do have to seek professional help but often we wish we didn't and maybe want someone to prod us in that direction.

Shit think yourself fortunate, i could fall into the too old, too useless, too poofy looking and an awful sense of humour.

I claim the "useless" disclaimer

Actually I was thinking that I might fall into the too young or not interested....it is not that I ma not interested it is just that the ones I am interested in are too far away at the moment.

personality type is INFP.
Introverted (I) 75% Extroverted (E) 25%
Intuitive (N) 73% Sensing (S) 27%
Feeling (F) 51% Thinking (T) 49%
Perceiving (P) 55% Judging (J) 45%

INFP: People of this type tend to be: quiet, reserved, and kind; deeply passionate, sensitive, and easily hurt; loving and dedicated to those close to them; creative, original, and imaginative; curious and flexible in small matters; nonconforming.

The most important thing to INFPs is their deeply held beliefs and living in harmony with their values.

I am about as close to a thinker/feeler as you can get. Ever other time I have take this test it has swapper...which is true to my nature.

So here is the other one.

INTP: People of this type tend to be: quiet, independent, and private; logical and unemotional; creative, ingenious, and innovative, global thinkers; curious and driven to increase their competence; casual, and adaptive; nonconforming and unpredictable.

The most important thing to INTPs is their privacy and the opportunity to solve complex problems in unique ways.

Both of these are very much so me....

I think you can fall in love with aspects of people you have never met (and I have), but to fall in total love with them without meeting I do not think it will happen. You may mistake those little bits and pieces for the whole but it will not be so until you meet them.professor

Hello Aries! reunion Been meaning to write you but I cannot seem to get enough time. May need a date for a wedding in Athboy or Trim next spring. They have not told me which location it will be in yet.
