Well lets see, I have been to 4 of the 7 continents, including 22 countries, been to 36 of the 50 states, been through the Suez canal 6 times, and am only fluent in English but make a point of learning a little bit of the languages of what ever country I am journeying to. cheers

I do not have an age preference myself in reality, but considering I would like to have children of my own someday, most older women will not go for that.

And to be honest some of the younger ones seem really young considering my life experience and the generation gap!

Partners age. Is that important for you?: click here to read the entire thread »

I have found just talk to them and dont be in any rush. If they start bugging you or personal info or immediatly want to get you exchanging emails by some means other than the site. Beware.
Never give out personal info. I dont even tell people my kids names until Im pretty comfertable with them.
Speding time communicating is the best way. Liars always mess up sooner or later. Scammers are juggling as many women as they can. They always mess up. Pay attention and even take notes. If it feels wierd wave bye bye...
I would have to agree with DoD. They will mess up. Only time will tell.hug

My all time favorite book from literature class was "The Count of Monte Cristo".

Anne Rice's "Interview With A Vampire"

Dean Koontz "Intensity"

Sigh, I mostly read paranormal romances now days......I don't think those would be up your alley, lol.

The Count of Monte Cristo is still one of my favorites that I read once a year.

Have you tried any Andrew Greeley's Irish series?handshake

Always great to see you Don - and thanks for the reply...

Those Harley dirt bikes were made by Aermacci (sp?). They've got a bit of a cult following now...
Yeah they sure do!

I have had many bikes starting out with 1000cc Sporty, but realized I didn't know how to ride so I sold it and a buddy of mine and I shared his suzuki 450L....That was scary enough, I pulled a wheelie on that one unintentionally across 4 lanes of traffic. That was 17 years ago! Have never given it up, even after being run over by a car 10 years ago.

My current is a 1979 Electra Glide Classic stripped down with Jockey shift and a suicide clutch. before this incarnation it was the bike in my profile.

Looking for a Kawasaki Drifter that I saw once painted up to look like a WWII bomber! It had easyrider stickers on the dash for all the harleys it had blown away. Just love the looks of that bike.

and I have mounds of parts for BSA's, Harleys, Kaws, and Suzukis that I think someday I will do something with.

So yeah....I am definitely a GEEK!cheers

I think my condemnation of AMF is because of their neglect and almost running a legendary company out of existence. I've seldom met a motorcycle I did not like.
I whole heartedly agree to that.cheers

If you are indeed doing that (an idea I love) - keep us posted my good man...hopefully those v-twins will not be of the same (AMF) era.

Evil was nuts. I remember as a kid, how many of us built ramps, jumped over garbage cans, wrecked our Stingrays, etc.? A childhood icon.
My AMF has been known to outrun Brand new Softails.....

A couple of buddies in FL have built drag bikes with 300 hp out of shovels.

Beside find a shovel that has not been rebuilt....so there is not much original AMF out there.

No, I don't think the AMA era engines would work, I would have to carry to much oil to keep up with all the leaks..

I have a friend that is a fabricator, he is working on some plans now. Another friend is a Harley Mechanic & he is looking into getting me 2 HD racing engines, al little HD "sponsorship" would sure be nice but??

Tom Sneva (ex Indy Car driver) lives down here in Paradice Valley. He has one with 2 Yamaha engines, clocked at 127, I want 150+. Have to give him something to shoot for on his next attempt..

Hey, I don't carry that much oil for my old shovel!! It only marks its spot, doesn't gush out like arterial bleeding....laugh And I wouldn't hesitate to ride it anywhere!

However, a buddy of mine has an old 38 VL harley that he rides all the time.....Now talk about a TOTAL loss oiling system....head banger
