In response to:
a big problem would be in the field of Common Interests..With,lets say a 25 year gap, which would make it roughly a Generation, how many common interests would there be?
Not many I'd say, except in some few cases.
So there would mainly be the physical attraction left and it would be anyones guess how long that's going to last.
Unless all the factors are right in such a relationship it probably won't last. JMO
I have to agree w/you. When you have that much of a generation gap, & after the first stages of love are over (the newness of it all, the passion), what do you have to talk about? Although I have to say I almost always date younger men. I once had a brief relationship w/a man who was 21 years younger than I am (I was older than his mother!!!!) It only lasted for 3 months, a fling, if you will.

You are just in different stages of your life. He was still into partying & drinking every night, & I am at the stage now where it takes me a few days to recover from a "good drunken time".

I suppose if you met the right person it could work, but I think that that would be the exception...

I've been there too-my friend frequently looks & sometimes has affairs. We've discussed the issue many times, she knows right from wrong. I didn't tell, it's best to stay out of it, from my perspective. But every case is different..

I get carried away with the scratch tickets, I think I better stop.Anybody else has this problem?
Ohhh, be careful !!! Gambling is such an addictive behavior, & the odds are always against you. Desperate people often gamble & lose everything-their loved ones, jobs, self-respect, just like w/any other addiction.
As long as you don't get too carried away, once in a while is OK. The only people who should gamble are the wealthy ones who can afford to lose.
My mother went through her entire retirement money, thousands!!!
People want to feel that "rush", that excitement. But it can be found in many other ways...
Hate to sound preachy, but please be careful! If you feel you need help or you're out of control, seek professional help or try Gambler's Anonymous.

Take care & good luck

Hopefully you'll never hit rock bottom...

a bunch of my friends and I went out to the pastures, stripped naked to go cow tipping but instead encountered a bull. Mind ya, we were naked, running like the dickens with only the moon light to help us see, the farmer comes out and fires his gun into the sky, I fell in the gopher hole and I remember hearing the bull close enough to me that I could hear his snorting and breathing............then I ran into the barb wire fence.....yep, not good
OMG, ROFLMAO, good one!!!

Women seem to be attracted to rough boys....

About me.....

I'm currently locked up in the Oak Park prison. I have duty in the kitchen, that's where I get to do all my cooking. I get an hour a day in the yard, we even have an apple tree. Tons of neighbors, and solitary confinement is great time alone to think.

I also get twelve carefully supervised conjugal weekends a year. Are you at all an exhibitionist? The guards seem to be very interested in what's going on. They say they're watching for contraband, but I'm not so sure.

Life, and I mean life quite literally, ain't bad. We have a pool with a slide and I am allowed two visitors a day. With any luck at all and some good behavior, I can meet parole in twenty-two years. I can't wait. When I get out, we'll skip the small talk and foreplay and jump right into the sack. I will need to be with a woman really badly by then.

Thirty years is a long time to be waiting for your next real woman. I don't count my cellmate Bubba as a real companion. Everybody is afraid of him, but I know his soft side as well.I'm a little concerned though, Bubba don't like condoms. Says they're for wusses.

How about we meet for a cup of coffee? If you want, you are allowed to drink beer!

I will leave Bubba at the facility, it would be better that way. He might get jealous. But you don't have to worry about him, they don't let him out at all. Ever. But you'll be safe with me. I'll have an armed guard along to chaperone.

It should also make me easier to pick out of the crowd. Find the uniform, then look for the guy with the cuffs.

About you....

Super hot, large cavities a plus!
Great imagination, are you a writer? LMAO

Hi, I’m Patty. I’m a senior at UCLA, I love to rollerblade, and I have accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. Have you? If you haven’t we should get together and visit. Chat. Rap. What-have-you. I’m sure I can help you find the true way. As Jesus said, "The angels shall come forth and sever the wicked and shall cast them into the furnace of fire. Haha...but enough of the king of kings. Let’s get down to boy-girl stuff. Turn-ons: our saviour (naturally), banana milkshakes - two straws. Uh, turn-offs : uh, sex before marriage (urrgh), dead things and negroes. If you are looking for a Christ-centered relationship with marriage as the ultimate goal, give me a jingle. I’ll be waiting! And praying...
ZOMG, hahahahahaha

Um... what if the "best thing" IS the truth??
Good question, I agree that it's best to be as truthful as possible! Who can remember all of the lies & why bother w/them unless all you really want is to use someone & get laid!

In regards to your gut feeling.

To me that means exactly what its implying, He is not ready for a RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. Oh, he might be ready to screw around with you every now and then, whenever he feels the urge to untie a tight knot, or whenever he temporally feels needy and wants to juice your energy to satisfy his loneliness. But to take it any further? I don’t think so. If that’s what your gut feeling is telling you, then perhaps you could be right.

You got that right!! Tahnks for a real man's honest interpretation..:)

I believe they can work IF you are visiting often are able to maintain the sexual, emotional needs of each other.

If you didn't...there is no way it would work. you would end up seeking out someone else to fill in a void until you saw your partner again.
That's what I'm going thru right now...getting lonely because I haven't seen him for 3 weeks, so looking for more attention elsewhere...

i think it depends on the people involved & what they each want out of the relationship, if they don't need or want to be around someone 24-7 then it could be the ideal type of a relationship, but sooner or later someone will want more. Then what? Who moves & there's a down side to long distance relationships you never know if the person your getting ready to change your life for has been up front with you about what they were doing while you were 500 miles apart. until its to late, For me personally i could not have one for a long time i would want to see, talk and touch the person that i might be spending my life with. But then again it depends on how much you see each other already. Just remember if your in a long distance relationship your not giving yourself a chance to met anyone else that might be a lot closer to you. javascript:emot('');
handshake

I have to agree with a lot of what you're saying..am trying to make one happen as speak. It's very difficult, communication is crucial, & much effort is required from both parties. I guess if the people involved are a bit distant from each other emotionally, then maybe by only seeing each other once in a while the relationship would last longer.

Well, speaking as a "rubenesque" woman, I have to say that there are plenty of men who like full-figured gals! Most of the country is overweight now as it is..Thin men can be a turn-off, depending on how they're built. Unfortunately, men are much more visual than women, I can go into detail from an evolutionary perspective if anyone wants to know some details :D
