What the...! I have never heard it, but I know it!!...I wonder how!? grin
That's right, I forgot...this is really a game that finds the quickest "googler", and the fastest text copier and pastererer!! Not a hard game when no one else is playing! I've been taking all the time I want because the last post was two days ago! So the answer to the previous lyric that was submitted Saturday, March 15th, Two Thousand and Eight, at precisely 2:17pm AEST, is.....drum roll....
Avenged Sevenfold - "Warmness On The Soul" cheering

Now I'll just take the time to preview my post...yeh, that looks cool, fix the grammer and spelling...cool..and now...in the same post I will throw down some lyrics for you (none of this cheating by submiting this post first and then posting another in order to present my lyrics to the arena! No, this is done in one swoop just to show you how fast I am!!).

You might even know it without googling it, it's pretty easy, take a close look :

"In the locust wind comes a rattle and hum
Jacob wrestled the angel and the angel was overcome
Plant a demon seed, you raise a flower of fire
See them burning crosses, see the flames, higher and higher"

Now, I'll just quickly check this thread to make sure no one has posted anything in the last 5 minutes! It would make me look like a real git if that was the case!! hole

Alice Cooper - Hurricane Years

"And in wheelchairs by monuments
Under tube trains and commuter accidents
In council care and county courts
At Easter fairs and sea-side resorts"

Low - My five year old daughter broke her arm last week (my son broke his last year...that's taking turns to an extreme!) crying sad

sad Yeah, you're right Lou - it's seems to me, in most cases, that this has just been testing our googling skills and how fast we can copy and paste text. So I didn't do really well at all because I actually googled one and got it wrong!!

D'oh!

Eric Clapton - Journeyman

it's the sun that burns
it's the wheel that turns
it's the way we sing that makes 'em dream
and to Christ: a cross
and to me: a chair
I will sit and earn the ransom from up here

Sounds good but it would be a long trip for me, for a two hour cruise and party afterwards - I would have to plan something for the whole weekend.

A paddle-steamer cruise on the Murray appeals to me more grin

There was a time a while ago over a few months when I was entering every promotion competition I could find in newspapers, brochures, wrappers, packaging etc. and did actually win stuff - mainly CD's.

I did also win a year supply of tiny teddy biscuits!! It just proves that you've got to be in it to win it.

Speaking of trying again, I haven't been here long (in he cyber realms of online dating, chatting, partying!, foruming, or whatever...), but the wild thought of "trying again" crossed my mind last night, at which time I started to frantically draft an email message which I haven't sent it.

It would be a like a feel-good chick flick movie with a happy ending and it would feel like I'd accomplished something, especially if our love grew stronger than before...well, it would have to wouldn't it?

The email to my wife (seperated - not divorced) included the mp3 "Try Again" by Keane - the lyrics are:

Keane - "Try Again"

I fell asleep on a late night train
I missed my stop and I went round again
Why would I want to see you now?
To fix it up, make it up somehow

Baby I'll try again, try again
Baby I die every night, every time

What I was isn't what I am
I'd change back but I don't know if I can

Still I'll try, try again, try again
Baby I die every night, every time

But I was made the way I am
I'm not a stone; I'm just a man
Lay down your arms and I will lay down mine
Rip back the time that we've been wasting

God I wish you could see me now
You'd pick me up and you'd sort me out

Baby I'll try again, try again
Baby I die every night, every time

Hunter's and collectors - throw your arms around me

The ocean is full cause everyones crying,
The full moon is looking for friends at high tide.
The sorrow grows bigger when the sorrows denied.
I only know my mind....

That was a trick one - the song is actually titled "crystal ball" from the CD "under the iron sea" - brilliant CD, brit piano pop, really emotional music - next best band since U2 (for me personally).

Who is the man I see
where I'm supposed to be?
I lost my heart, I buried it too deep
under the iron sea

Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My shangri-la beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin through...
