And is prostitution not one of the oldest professions know to mankind? Does anyone here have such a squeaky clean record that they could be in public view with absolutely "NO" skeletons in their closet??

Not me... Are we judge, jury & executioner?

Me Neither and I can think of no one who is without their own skeletons.

Then again we are smart enough to stay out of public office and we don't hold others to standards we are unable to maintain ourselves.

If Patterson takes over, he might turn out to be one of New Yorks best Gov. and the first Afro America. I know I joke a lot, but I'm really interested in this one.

A high priced call girl name Kristen. She collected $4,300.00 for their 2 1/2 hour tryst which was arranged thru a prostitution ring. The whole thing brought to light via wire tap. He just got caught in the net.

I guess that's another way of God saying you make too much money.

If the Reps have their way Patterson will get the seat and he'll have a great opportunity.

I think it would have been better had he been Republican and endorsed McCain. That would have at least brought doubt to that rumor that he "almost" had an affair.

I guess the Dems are the only ones young enough to still get it up

The way I see it is that any church that knows that their people on the pulpit are bad than they are resonsible. I am talking about stealing as much as raping.

If they go against what they are preaching then they are deserving of losing that pulpit.

Yes, you're right but that's not what's been happening. Those people identified at the start of this thread should have been punished for their crimes instead of moved to another place for a clean start and fresh flock of potential victims.

Of course the Catholics aren't the only ones. I can't forget the scandals from the 80s with the PTL club and Jimmy Swaggart. Even after that those people were allowed to continue for a time. At least Jim Baker went to jail and then his wife dumped him, married another guy within the org and continued on for a number of years, And the people kept sendiing them money. Religeon and Politics are so similar...

I say they should make obvious traitors a target and bombard them We send troops to other countries to kill them for undetermined reasons and these war pigs get off smelling like a rose. They have a more clear cut reasons for exterminating them..LOLI say.. PEOPLE TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK!

If we consider the voting rates of the US (About 60% for 2000 & 62% for 2004) It would seem we could move the country more effectively if we got off our butts and voted and I think this was proven during the 2006 elections.

I agree with your views on the 2nd ammendment (we should have the right to bear arms) However, if we have collectively ingored by large the other tools we have available to make change then we are no better then the "war pigs" we would raise arm against.

I guess I am surprised. The venom spewed and the pointless laws passed in this country by our political leadership makes me wonder how these people came to power. They really can't be representative of the population they serve can they? I really hope that isn't the case but in a small community(s) I guess anything is possible, especially when we don't pay attention to what's happening.

Voters in two US towns have approved a measure that would instruct police to arrest President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for "crimes" against the US constitution.

The nonbinding, symbolic measure passed in Brattleboro and Marlboro, both in Vermont, instructs town police to "extradite them to other authorities that may reasonably contend to prosecute them".

Vermont is known for its liberal politics. State lawmakers have passed nonbinding resolutions to end the war in Iraq and impeach Mr Bush and Mr Cheney, and several towns have also passed resolutions of impeachment.

None of these have caught on in Washington.

Mr Bush has never visited the state as president, although he has spent vacations at his family compound in nearby Maine.

Roughly 12,000 people live in Brattleboro, located on the Connecticut River in the state's southeastern corner. Nearby Marlboro has a population of roughly 1,000.

It's nice to see our representatives have enough time in their busy schedules to pass non-binding BS resolutions.

Wait a Sec......... barfing

Now I feel a bit better... I thought this sort of waste was restricted to D.C. Clearly I was wrong. mumbling
