The name was changed ttom. Same company, different name...same potential problems. The Diebold AccuVote voting machine has also come under scrutiny especially by Ralph Nader's campaign allegedly.

"Rubin is credited for bringing to light vulnerabilities in Premier Election Solutions (formerly Diebold Election Systems) Accuvote electronic voting machines. In 2006 he published a book on his experiences since this event."

"Three voting machines hacking tests have been performed by Finnish Computer expert Harri Hursti for the nonprofit elections watchdog group Black Box Voting[1] and the producers of the HBO documentary 'Hacking Democracy' [2] who filmed it. The first two Hursti Hacks were set up in Leon County, Florida with the authorization of Supervisor of Elections Ion Sancho and these tests examined a Diebold Election Systems (DES) Accu-Vote OS 1.94w (optical scan) voting machine. The third Hursti test was conducted for Black Box Voting in collaboration with Bruce Funk, then-County Clerk of Emery County, Utah, on a Diebold TSx touch-screen."

"Diebold-Global: Corporate chief, Wally O'Dell, a top Bush fundraiser, has publicly committed himself to "delivering" his home state's votes to Bush next year. The election division is run by Bob Urosevich. Bob was the co-founder of American Information Systems which became ES&S. Bob's brother, Todd, is a top executive at "rival" ES&S. The brothers were originally staked in the vote-count business by Howard Ahmanson, a member of the Council for National Policy, a right-wing "steering group" stacked with Bushist faithful.
Diebold-Global's top managers, Howard Van Pelt and Larry Ensminger, recently moved to Advanced Voting Solutions-Shoup."

Are you surprised? It's not the first time this has happened. It's all out war! Just fighting the system:
http://www.freepress.org/departments/display/19/2005/1529

"As a legal noose appears to be tightening around the Bush/Cheney/Rove inner circle, a shocking government report shows the floor under the legitimacy of their alleged election to the White House is crumbling.

The latest critical confirmation of key indicators that the election of 2004 was stolen comes in an extremely powerful, penetrating report from the Government Accountability Office that has gotten virtually no mainstream media coverage. Click here for GAO Report

The government's lead investigative agency is known for its general incorruptibility and its thorough, in-depth analyses. Its concurrence with assertions widely dismissed as "conspiracy theories" adds crucial new weight to the case that Team Bush has no legitimate business being in the White House.

Nearly a year ago, senior Judiciary Committee Democrat John Conyers (D-MI) asked the GAO to investigate electronic voting machines as they were used during the November 2, 2004 presidential election. The request came amidst widespread complaints in Ohio and elsewhere that often shocking irregularities defined their performance.

According to CNN, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee received "more than 57,000 complaints" following Bush's alleged re-election. Many such concerns were memorialized under oath in a series of sworn statements and affidavits in public hearings and investigations conducted in Ohio by the Free Press and other election protection organizations.

The United States is the only major democracy that allows private partisan corporations to secretly count and tabulate the votes with proprietary non-transparent software. Rev. Jesse Jackson, among others, has asserted that "public elections must not be conducted on privately-owned machines." The CEO of one of the most crucial suppliers of electronic voting machines, Warren O'Dell of Diebold, pledged before the 2004 campaign to deliver Ohio and thus the presidency to George W. Bush."

Dont worry......... as soon as the Bushney,s are gone...... Socialists will get back to power in Sweden and in most of other european countries after a shorter periode of time..... all of a sudden and just like that!

Good times are coming!!!!!!!!

It does not matter singleDude, Sweden is an export-oriented market economy (not the same as Capitalism). If the Social Democrats were the ruling party, they would be in no better shape.

Everybody(almost) is vulnerable to the global and American market. The Moderate alliance party (26%) is the ruling party, but the Social Democrats do hold more seats in the Parliament. FYI, the Moderates are center-right, liberal conservative alliance with the Center Party, the Liberal People's Party and the Christian Democrats.

yawn I just read it...and this part? Gosh...I mean, isn't it obvious? It sounds like a tactic to you get you to believe that Obama is playing or even over playing the race card. All the subliminal messages are laced in there to trigger certain thoughts...

In his memoir, Obama writes of one of the watershed moments of his racial awareness — time and again in remarkable detail. It is a story about a Life magazine article that influenced him. The report was about a black man who tried to bleach his skin white. When Obama was told no such article could be found in Life, he says “it might have been Ebony. He is 9 years old, living in Indonesia, where he and his mother moved with her new husband, Lolo Soetoro, a few years earlier. One day while visiting his mother, who was working at the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, Obama passed time by looking through several issues of Life magazine. He came across an article that he later would describe as feeling like an “ambush attack.”The article included photos of a black man who had destroyed his skin with powerful chemical lighteners that promised to make him white. Instead, the chemicals had peeled off much of his skin, leaving him sad and scarred, Obama recalled.“I imagine other black children, then and now, undergoing similar moments of revelation,” Obama wrote of the magazine photos in “Dreams.”Yet no such photo exists, according to historians at the magazine. No such photos, no such article. When asked about the discrepancy, Obama said in a recent interview, “It might have been an Ebony or it might have been … who knows what it was?” (At the request of the Tribune, archivists at Ebony searched their catalogue of past articles, none of which matched what Obama recalled.)In fact, it is surprising, based on interviews with more than two dozen people who knew Obama during his nearly four years in Indonesia, that it would take a photograph in a magazine to make him conscious of the fact that some people might treat him differently in part because of the color of his skin.

To be honest, I had no idea what you were talking about. I did not even know that you had surgery a week or so ago until I did a search. You 100 percent recovered? Sorry to hear you had to go through a surgery...I cannot possibly imagine myself going through a surgery ( I have an inherent fear of surgeries/hospitals).

Anyways, communicating can be tricky at times in this digital age. Be cool bro!

I've been here since late March of this year. If you are suggesting that I gave such advice, you are gonna really need to prove it by quoting my alleged post.

I used the search function, and so far I could not find any advice that I would give on intestinal problems, and to be honest, I don't know what fool would give such advice as a remedy for intestinal problems. I tried using the keywords gastro-intestinal and sit ups. My name does not come up in any of those searches.

I'm just saying that your tone suggests that I gave such advice. That is why I am making this post, otherwise, you would have been more clear as to who gave you that suggesting (was kinda vague).
