It's more of a honesty thing in asking for a pic. For instance, lets say that I am obviously interested in that person and some time has been invested on the phone and making plans and so forth. So if I am only going on 2-3 pics or some pics taken by a professional photographer, then I think it is game to ask for other pics that shows the person's essence and add some personality....I really don't place a high premium on looks and physical appearance (my friends would be the first ones to point this out), but I do place a high premium on a woman's confidence and how comfortable she is with her physical appearance and how she sees herself. If somebody is reluctant to share some innocent/everyday pics, then I would become highly suspicious.

The thing is, if her pics don't match how she looks in real life, then it is a simple display of dishonesty....


I have to agree with you. Ever hear of Glamourshots? They can make Frankenstein look like Fabio! HAHA!! But really, I have a few different pics on my profile which look totally different from one another, in my opinion. I don't think it's wrong.

I didn't mean to sound conceited or self-consumed. I apologize. I just wish I could find a decent UNMARRIED guy who's not 15-20 years younger or older than me! Do they really exist??

He's still around. He leaves to go back home this weekend for a month. There's another one who keeps calling. And he hangs out at the place I do, so I kinda feel like I have to go elsewhere now. To tell you the truth, I'm glad he's going back for a bit. I just don't really want to be bothered by them right now. I'm sure I like the attention, but not all that it entails.

Luckily, I'm actually not even attracted to him. I just enjoyed our conversation. That makes it very easy for me to ignore his calls. I would've thought by this time he'd have given up though.

I've recently encountered a problem. I met a man the other night at a club. We started talking & realized we'd graduated from the same school, just within a few years of each other. We proceeded to talk & he asked me for my number, which I gave him. By the end of our conversation, he admitted to me that he's married.

Now, my problem is that he keeps calling me. After 3 unanswered calls the other night, I finally answered the fourth call. I left him know that I don't go out with married men. He told me he had heard several songs that reminded him of me. He also said he wore the fleece that he'd let me wear (it was cold) all weekend! He told me he'd give it all up for another conversation like we had the other night.

I told him again, "You're married. Nothing's going to happen here." Then he asked me how I'd feel if he wasn't. I told him that it doesn't matter because he is & that's it. I told him he should work on his marriage.

He's tried calling me several times since then & I just haven't answered. Should I just keep not answering or once again try to put my point across to him?

I have an older brother & a younger sister. But I guess you could say I'm the "white sheep". I'm the responsible one who usually takes care of things, since my mom passed away. I've been at the same job for 20 years & neither of them works.

As far as only children being selfish... my daughter is an only child. And I really don't think she's selfish. I used to feel the same way, but one of my best male friends in high school was an only child & was one of the most caring & giving people I knew. I think it's all in the way you raise them. If you give them everything they want just because they're your only child, of course they'll turn out selfish. JMO wine

It's sunny & 71 degrees here today. A beautiful day! And hey, it's Friday to boot!! yay

At work right now... don't tell my co-workers I'm playing on the computer. wink

Supposed to go see a band play at a local bar tonight, but I was out the last two nights... so, I may just stay home & behave. Besides, with the new mortgage payments, I really have to watch my spending.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing this weekend yet. I'm a spontaneous kinda gal.
