I like to keep a first date simple and am usually more relaxed during the day when it's possible to meet then..........night time dates seem more romantic and more appropriate for future dates.

An outside patio for appetizers and a few drinks or coffee...

Bowling is always fun and gives you something to do if you're at a loss for what to say...

I even love meeting at the zoo on a pretty day......

I never end a date by saying I will call if I don't plan to. I just thank them for spending time with me and leave it at that.

These suckers are longer than my pinky.....not sure motels will have a vacancy for them....

I might try the spray though if they get in my house. I'm not gonna kill them outside in their own environment unless it's the only choice.

Well I know ....I do that but the complex seems to be infested by them. I would prefer to have something down that keeps them off of my porch and out of my house. I'm not scared of them.

I finally got my own apartment 3 weeks ago....

My favorite thing about it is the upstairs wood patio. I love sitting out there at night with my laptop........unfortunately so do massive and I mean MASSIVE waterbugs. They are at least 3 inches long. They aren't in my house but I don't want to share my porch with them either.....any suggestions of what to put down to get rid of them???

Mentally I would like to be able to not criticize my weight and just accept it is what it is.....

I read A LOT of true crime novels.....one or two doesn't sound bad but when you come over and see 200 of them in a row on my bookshelf....it can raise an eyebrow or two.

I have been posting for over 2 years and can't really say I have noticed it anymore than what is natural. After all....this IS a dating site even though most of us use it as a form of entertainment. People natural want to see and be seen....

and when I see somebody that strikes me come in....I definitely speak up on the forums a little more than usual to see what kind of sparks may start...can't say it has really worked for me but I think it's a natural thing to do.

I have never forgotten my child was with me but don't look down on those that have. I can see how a momentary thing can happen...for a MOMENT.

In this case, there were SIX other people involved and a 45 minute time lapse. Not one of them looked at the empty seat and thought "where's the baby?" It seems a little fishy to me.

As i keep reading these threads on do's and dont's .. apart from the grossly obvious no's and okay's .... I wonder if we should actually have a rule book on the issue.

If u meet someone where the magic is evident .. its juust got to be so spontaneous from there .. as in true expression of feelings .. but bearing in mind the other person'a too .. I think thats cool , smooth sailing and really romantic.

As for the question on hand .. nope i dont think to kiss is a tease .. gosh .. it makes it sound IMO not so special at all ..

If u do embrace or kiss someone at the spur of the moment for what he or she did or said or made u feel and its NOT out of " i have to do it cos its a date " sort of feeling .. i think its beautiful instead.

Funny that you mention that...

I am actually in the process of writing one.

This was actually a stupid title to my post but I am a rookie.......not used to making threads..... rolling eyes

OF COURSE kissing is a tease.....in a way, it is meant to be. It tells a person that you enjoy them and want more........but why does it have to be that second?!?!

I guess a better title would have been "Does only wanting a kiss make me a tease?"

I agree with RHT but sadly I already do that. I think the fact that I am living in an age where I have to tell grown men that I don't have any plans to screw them on our first, 2nd, or even 5th date is sad and juvenile but that's another thread all together.

I also agree with another poster (sorry I don't remember the exact name)...I am dating the wrong men.....but how in the world do I find the right one??? I let my feelings about sex known to them from the start, explain what I am looking for in perfect English......yet......they still push.

I think the same poster said something about how the men who think affection of any kind is supposed to lead to sex.....I can't agree more. I was married to a man like that and it was awful. Sometimes I just wanted to cuddle and share an intimate kiss while watching a movie...no matter how hard I tried to explain that.....he viewed it as teasing unless we ended up between the sheets. It caused me to never want to show affection at all........and it's what I would like to avoid in a future relationship.
