This is an incredibly shallow perception based purely on some numbers as a range of age. Just because a woman puts that on her profile...doesn't mean she's a gold digger. Let's be realistic. Maybe it's a woman/women open to explore all the possibilities of a man and his age variance. So? What a way to judge someone based on that? MAYBE she just got tired of filling everything out! Typo???

As for what you can do with a 99 year old man? Anything you want. Their choice...their life...not yours or mine.

mtngypsy828: hey, hey, no reason to be upset. When I read your post I did not think it was racist. But when I see a show, or article or Internet article that makes a broad statement like that, I have questions, like:

What percentage of those premature births were to women who had little or no prenatal care?
What percentage of those births were to families living in poverty?
Define "mixed race." Was it black/white, black/Asian, Hispanic/Black and what percentage of each type of mixed race babies were in the survey?
How many of the mothers smoked? (also a huge factor in premature birth and low birth weight.)
How many of the mothers were malnourished or underweight?
How many of the mothers used alcohol and/or drugs?

You see, if you factor all those things out, and have a control group of non-mixed race parents of each race involved in the study group, you can make the conclusion (maybe) that premature babies are more common in mixed race couples. But you have to compare equal apples to other equal apples, and I have seen very few tv shows, even documentaries, that take the time to do this. I'm not saying you are a racist, or wrong, but that all of us need to think a bit when we get information from the mass market which surprises us.

Wow, intelligence and logic. You go girl.

RillyNiceGuy: A man and some women of many nationalities who had slaves or a domanance over someone else non slave would ride up to the house and honk for a female or male to come get in the vehicle.....this could be for the purpose of work or taking sexual advantage of thier position (as did many black overseers did also to their fellows). To call me a Honkie" is to call me a person who would take advantage of others in many vile ways. I would be offended. They would be racially judging me as one of those people only because I am white (Cherokee and Apachie Indian, Scott Irish, English, German.)

It looks like those who have been judged would know better than to judge......but we have only begun to swap places is all.

Peace!

Hey RNG...been a long time and I'm glad to see a familiar face....I am however disappointed in the same idiotic fact quoting misinterpretation of actual data that continues to go on here. Nice to see you still hold some realistics ideas, thoughts and perception....Nice to see you.

I almost don't dare respond to this thread but I haven't been around for a long time. I've actually been on this site for about 5 years or so. I'm amazed that the same threads, same questions, and same mentality still are present.

Oh, I haven't been on since I was in a "mixed" relationship. He's a man, I'm a woman. Just about as mixed as you can get.

Yes, I typed that right. Nine children. Sympathy cards can be mailed to PO BOX .......

Just kidding. I love them all. Still have 5 girls at home...and most days I still have hair left at the end of the day.

In my opinion it becomes less and less an issue the older we get. As we increase in age we place less importance on age as a factor, unless you're like me....I don't date anyone young enough to be my child!!

In response to: My daughter wanted to go back to the Mormon Church as we went there when she was a child. We have not gone for 6 years, but the missionaries came by the house and now we are taking the lessons again. They say they are the only true church on the face of the earth as they only hold all the priesthood blessings.

They do believe in Jesus and that he is our salvation. Is that enough or do they really lead us astray.

I need to know seriously what people think why they are not the true church as I have to make a decision if I really want to go back.

Series answers only please.

This is a difficult question to answer. I was in the Mormon Church for many years. There are many great and wonderful teachings. There are also some that are hard to swallow. Please ask yourself what you're asking us. Only you can determine the road you want you and your children to head on. I have not been active in the church for a few years now. I miss it and wonder sometimes if I myself need to go back.

Pray. That's all I can say. It works wonders no matter what church you go to.

What do you believe, the true definition of a Real Man is.

Thank You All!

A "real" man is absolutely like the one I have. The one that picks the girls up from school when they're sick. Babies me when I am as well.

He eats whats on the table, never complains if you didn't make the bed. (sometimes makes it himself)

He's the one who makes you feel beautiful when you've got on your sweat pants, you feel like an elephant and have no make up on.

It's the man who hugs and kisses you.....just because.

He's the one that holds you close while you're sleeping and you know he would protect you forever.

He's the one who goes to the store every day after work and calls you to make sure that since he's there, you have what you need without going out yourself. (after he's worked the entire night)

He's the one who knows what you want/need before YOU even do.

He's the one who says the right thing at the right moment, when you need it most.

Yeah, he's MY guy.
