If someone asks me to conceal a criminal act and they won't "turn theirselves in" they are not my friend, especially if someone who is innocent is involved. I think if someone wants me to be dishonest with someone else, they will lie to me also. There's no integrity in that. I am not a saint, but I have a colorful past from years ago. I don't hang with people that commit crimes. Just my opinion.

Thanks for your story. I don't think of myself as desperate, but I do get lonely. It seems to me, and this is my opinion, that as we get into our age group, we have a few more expectations of a mate, we ALL have baggage, so we are more cautious and judgemental (protective)of our hearts. It's harder for me to decide what is good and healthy for me and what might work for both of us. I have been hurt many many times and lied to and cheated on etc, but I keep my chin up and figure eventually not the "right one" but something that is productive and enjoyable will come along. Maybe your friend was just having a bad day ? Give him another chance. That's what corting is for. What do I know ? Your a pretty woman.

You are touching on something that has frustrated me for years. When you see someone that is really attractive, but it's inappropriate to just walk up and start a conversation.
I thought about wearing a big soup sign, stating "I am single and looking for a partner" but that wouldn't work either. So i guess we have to go through the usual channels, huh ?
