What would life be with out friends like thee

To all the beautiful people that read my poem.... believe it or not, I was not sad when I wrote this... I was remembering all the good times my Jay (gone 1984)... I was inspired by a question the BeautifulEri asked me in another thread...
She asked me if I had ever been in love... Once a lifetime ago I had given my heart to someone only to have the Heavens call him home...
I can only pray that I will feel the joy of having that once more before I die...
I know I was directed to this sight for a reason...
So many people here know what I feel because they have been there themselves...
