I tend to be too introverted. Been working on it but it's tough going.

I used to be too trusting. Now I tend to be a little suspicious of people's motives or whether or not they are telling me the truth.

There is a girl in my past who I loved with every fibre of my existence and I still think of her every day.

We are still friends but there are reasons why we can't be together and it will never be the same as it once was.

But I learned what it really felt like to love someone other than my own family and I can only hope that I find that again someday.

I met a wonderful girl at work about 4 years ago and we are still friends today. We were the targets for a lot of ribbing and joking from co-workers while we were dating but it was all good. I know a lot of my male co-workers were envious of me.

She quit a few months later, then finally I quit that job too a little later. Then as fate would have it, we ended up working together again for another company for a little while. We weren't dating by that time but there wasn't any discomfort or awkwardness working together again.

Some people just seem to be more gifted at making friends. The rest of us just have to stay optimistic and keep plugging away.

I've tried internet dating sites for about 7 years. Have met one on one with a grand total of 4 all of whom I dated but none lasting longer than a couple of months although I'm still friends with one. Haven't met anyone from CS yet unless I count the one get together I went to but I've only been here a few months.

Will I meet the girl of my dreams here? Probably not but I'm still having fun. To be honest I have done a search of local members and there's no one here that I'm particularly interested in but I suppose that could change if I got to know someone better.

I would suggest that you try and get out to some of the events and get togethers. I've only been to one so far and altho it was a small crowd I was struck by just how nice and friendly everyone was.
