Although here most families have delayed or cancelled any Christmas plan's...As of last night it was snowing and turned to freezing rain--still raining this morning and another 7 inches of snow coming on top of all this....so stuck home...moping

When I was in my early 20's it was a movie called
"Last House on the Left" and now I see they have a remake of it out to buy...Think I will pass...

My 21 yr old daughter went and seen "paranormal activity" when it came out--said it was freaky but also kind of dumb-as she put it-it is now playing in a town nearby and my 16 yr old and myself have yet to make it out to see it--don't know if it is all the talk about it or what-that keeps us from going... laugh

I think in my case emotional abuse can be worse than physical was- but that is part of a past and a lot of things I have put in the back of my mind and left there...

I would help someone no matter what time of year..
My next door neighbor's are an older couple-I have mowed there yard every week during the summer for the past 3 years...

My neighbor friend across the road from me lost his arm 2 years ago--I shovel his driveway when it snows a lot-when I cook big meals or bake I always run a plate over to him...and when he doesn't catch me--I try and mow his yard also...lol

That is a list of the few thing's...but I do it because I love to not for the acknowledgement.....

itsallme112: I know more than 3 people who hate me. They are people I worked with in the past from a different department and they've done many things in trying to hurt me; such as rumors and gossip. One told me to my face how much his staff hates me and another professional told a mutual associate how much he hated. The associate told me to watchout for this guy. My problem was I expected everyone to love and respect me. You can't be friendly with everyone because there will always be someone out to hurt you if you are a public figure. Especially if they are jealous of your good luck or accomplisments. It's sad but I've learned not to trust.


That is sad but very true--guess my past has taught me to keep my personnel life just that and work is work, I watch to many people stab other's in the back in this small town--funny how so many though can be cowards--I listen to them talk nasty about someone and the minute they come in the door its a whole different person...(backstabber's)

And not being selfish in saying that and I hope that this next year all the wonderful people I have gotten to know on here finds the love I have here on CS...ok done being sappy now...

It wasn't pleasant.

I merely informed the nusing home staff that a second clock I'd got my mother had been stolen; the duty nurse went ape-shit and started screaming at me that I was accusing the staff of having stolen it.

Oh well, a language and cultural problem I guess........ but I was almost in tears; I never accused them of stealing the damn clock - but it certainly didn't just walk out a paralysed person's room on its own.


No matter what country--she is supposed to be a professional, if she could be like that with you, it would make me wonder what she would be like with some of the elderly when no one is around to defend them...I am sorry but in my own opinion I think I would have reported her for her behavior...

No never dealt with anyone hating me...nor have I hated anyone and I have told my daughter's to never use the word hate when talking about another person that is a very strong word--there are people I dislike but I do not go out of my way to avoid them--they are not worth my time is all....I am to upbeat of a person to let someone bring me down...grin
