i think there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many problems with the world to just sum it up to one or two (or a million) things. corruption of human-nature can turn ANYTHING into a nightmare for those less fortunate. (kinda like taxes - and how some rich idiots in power are exempt from paying them)

all throughout the years the US, Russia, and many... MANY... other countries have been trying to utilize the 95% of the human brain that we havent even been able to even tap into yet. maybe some type of 'psychic powers' exist, but if they do, why are most of us not able to use them? is it because some higher force wants to add a little mystery into life? or is it because (for those of us that are skeptics) there is no such thing as: channeling, remote viewing, astral projection, mental projection, pyro and tele kenisis, etc... ? in your opinion i mean...

as for the person that is missing, the detectives in the US only call in the psychics when all else fails and they hit dead ends within their law enforcement. so please people, dont blame the psychics for not being asked to find anyone. chances are, those that can REALLY do that kind of thing are sick of getting ridiculed for what the majority of the population doesnt believe in and they want to keep their faces OUT of the news for a while.

that is the funny thing with media:

first - the news makes fun of you because its 'popular' to do so...

second - you do something miraculous (sp) and they give you some praises.

third - (in this case) if you find one person but cant find another or the 'gift' doesnt work at that time, they question you like, 'what, is this person not good enough to be found?'

then lawsuits and slander starts.

psychics are better off living under the radar - with juuuuuuuuust enough credibility to know some are for real, but little enough so others will think 'ok. they are all full of $#it'

i read the posts about materialism and all that.

that is not the only woman that will take offense to something misunderstood as a judgement against all women. call it labeling, call it the necessity to be unique, call it whatever you want - fact of the matter is, unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally walk on eggshells with damn near everyone that is thin-skinned, you arent going to make everybody happy with everything you say.

this is not a slight on women, just the human nature in general. men are guilty of this as well. we just arent bombarded with the overwhelming necessity to prove to everyone that we are unique. just look at COSMO.
