I guess some good advice would be, "Keep running that play till you get it right!"

Hey, it works for football.

If the critics say a movie is bad, it usually is fairly entertaining. If they say it is outstanding, avoid it like the plague!

Gotta go with the Wild! What kind of Minnesotan would I be if I didn't? After all, this is the State of Hockey.

I'll guess that the Penguins will make it from the East.

GO WILD!

I'm glad that this all ended well. One word of caution, though. Whenever you encounter an animal that is acting strangely or out of character, especially animals such as racoons or skunks, always be aware that this animal could be carrying a disease such as rabies. It is always a good idea to keep your distance and consult your local animal control agency.

Actually, Rwantin, not mentioning names is an age thing! (memory related)

That's the plan, with age, but for some, you could bag wisdom up for them and put it in their hand and they still could not carry it.

I believe that violence becomes more prevalent when exposure to it becomes more frequent. This seems to increase its social acceptance and does not penalize its propagators, neither legally nor morally.

The general populace becomes hardened to it and tends to ignore rather than abhor it.

Wisdom comes, generally, in the area of an individual's passion. It requires persistance and an open mind.

Wisdom is not a state that encompasses all things. A man may be wise in respect to one thing and a fool in respect to another. It may help you handle unknown instances if it becomes a mental process that is generally discovered through trial and error experienced by oneself or observed in others.

Wisdom is a matter of personal interpretation. It may even be defined by the era in which you exist.

Most of all, wisdom is a perception of an individual as they exist in the minds of others. A wise man does not consider himself so, for with wisdom comes his humility and an understanding of how little he actually knows.

Age is a factor only in that the older one becomes, the greater are the quantities of experiences from which to draw conclusions and derive data.

Bears we don't get, koalas don't count but we lose alot of pets through ticks, obviously not as bad as your little parasites

Well, I've got nothing against oceans...but when I have a choice of sitting on the beach and maybe getting a sunburn...or going into the water where I may drown or get eaten by a shark...call me a coward, I'll take my chances with the sunburn.

For real now...I think conversation, especially positive and upbeat conversation, is the best way to get your foot in the door when trying to get to know someone. If that fails, and I've said this before, stomp on their foot and fill their hat with snow.

Are rabies a problem in other countries??

I have heard tales from my friend but wonder if he is spinning yarns to me...we often tell back packers here to watch for the 'drop bears' that fall out of trees.

Rabies can be a danger anywhere mammals live. Some species are more prone than other to carry this disease. I guess around here, skunks are the worst when it comes to the possibility of rabies. Up to this point in my life, I've luckily been able to outrun every skunk I've encountered. (Whether it was chasing me or not)

I start by acting cool.

cool

I catch her eye with a casual wave.

wave

She looks at me and smiles.

yay

I feel a little embarrassed.

blushing

I approach her.

grin

Suddenly, I begin feeling nervous.

blues

I can't think of anything to say.

help

I begin to feel foolish.

uh oh!

Then some other guy steps in and starts talking to her.

sigh

I look around.

dunno

See another woman.

cool

Repeat as many times as necessary. (Still no results)

mumbling
