[Speaking with a broader mindset, the soul and the supreme force which guides i would consider permanent.]

And I believe that love is eternally bound to these things.

Is there anything you would call Permanent in this world ?
If life is about living and loving , Is love eternal ?
If so, Does Eternal love exist today ?

By virtue of life itself being mortal or evolving thro the cycles of life and death .. permanence is a relative term ....

what do u think ?

The need to love and be loved seems to be the closest thing to permanent, at least in my life. I believe it is that way with all people.

Love has many levels. I imagine that eternal love would be the most developed of these.

The ability to love seems to never be diluted. Love is like music, the benefits to those around you are not diminished by the number within its scope. Just as a song is not diminished as the number of listeners increases.

We have a great capacity for love.

I fiercely tore open its prison walls. I was surprised when it slid out into my hand, but I quickly adapted to the feel of it in my hand. I held it gently, careful that it didn't melt under my touch before I could really enjoy it. I held it to my nose and inhaled deeply, permanently storing its unique scent in my memory.

I gently ran my tongue across the ever-so-subtle ridge before taking it deeply into my mouth. I took it in my mouth as far as it would go. It took all of my strength to resist the urge to swallow it whole! My tongue worked on its sweet shell until I could finally start to taste its slightly salty filling...

The quickness took me by surprise, and I moaned in approval, even though I hoped it would have lasted longer. I held the last few morsels on my tongue, savoring the taste before swallowing it all. I smiled, already looking forward to the next time..............

I could go on, but it getting late.

well i'm back now !...just rode back through the city of london on a buffalo being chased by a kangeroo !...

16. so how far are you away from the nearest shops and local town then ?

17. so what happens if you run out of petrol ( or how you people say it... gas ) ?

18.do you like deers then ?...i wonder whether they make good pets ?

well i could go on but i'll chat another time if you want to

Ooops! I missed these!

16. There is a small town about three miles from here. Close enough to walk but too far to carry groceries!

17. Town is close enough to allow me to walk with a gas can if I was careless enough to run out.

18. Yes, I like the deer. The rest of the wildlife, too. They can be pests at times, but after all, they were here before me. So, I just try to get along with them. And deer make lousy pets. They aren't bad as neighbors, though.

Have a good day, Gillie!

Gillie, you really have to let up on the coffee!

Let's see if I can answer some of your questions...

1. I usually take it easy on Sundays. Maybe cook a special dinner. Go for a walk. Relax.

2. Most everyone who lives in my area belong to the working class. There are some upper class folk that have cabins in the area.

3. No one ever knocks on my door. The neighbors are few around here. Everyone keeps to themselves, but are friendly and helpful. When I first moved here, I would walk to town and people would stop and ask me if I needed a ride.

4. In my experience, none of the predators around here feed on people. Bears are capable, but prefer to keep their distance.

5. I chose to live here because I enjoy it. In my youth, I lived in the city and vacationed in the woods. Seemed like a wonderful idea when I decided to move here. Now I live where people like to vacation.

6. Coyotes are canines similar to small wolves. Maybe halfway between a wold and a fox.

7. Yes, I live by myself mostly. I say mostly because my grown children have occasionally stayed with me between jobs or during hard times.

8. I've lived in this house for about twelve years now.

9. The garden is probably 50 feet long and 25 feet wide. Its been grown over the last few years though. The deer population has exploded here and its hard to keep them at bay.

10. Yes, but just around the garden. They really don't work, though.

11. I have a well that supplies the house with water. It works just like the city. Turn on the faucet, out comes the water.

12. The sewage is taken care of by the septic system. Its a single dwelling system that naturally processes waste.

13. About the only visitors I get here are relatives. They come here to enjoy the outdoors. There are plenty of lakes for fishing and lots of wildlife to observe.

14. Yes, I can cut down trees for firewood. I own forty acres and the wood I use comes from fallen trees. I leave the dead trees that are still standing. They are used as homes for wildlife.

15. No, Gillie, I've never seen that film.

And where is Ironton, Minnesota? It is about dead center in North America. About three or four hours from Canada, depending on whose driving.

There you go Gillie! I know there's not much detail, but that was quite a few questions. Hope this helped ease your curiosity.

By the way, I just came back from London a few weeks ago. I like it there. Nice change. Funny, huh? I live in the woods and vacation in the city. Go figure!

laugh

P.S. I had to delete your quote because with it, I went over 4000 characters!

thumbs up

Yes, Happy Birthday! There's a trick to getting old. You count your age on your toes and fingers without ever using the same one twice. That makes me 40.

grin

The problem with that is I feel a lot younger than 40. Oh well, nothing is foolproof!

Similar, but quite different. I can predict what the critters will do. Wish I could say the same for the city folk.

And Indy, everybody knows that the Egyptians cut down the Sahara forest to build the Pyramids!
