The_Kansan: Pretty sad that Tiger Woods and Barrack Obama are both just trying to screw everyone they can, but Tiger's catching hell while Barrack is being praised...

About the shortest single sentence summation of the state of the country, I have read Kansas, Nicely done. Can we take Obama's endorsements away from him?laugh

Merry Christmas all.....my last post thru the Holidays.

Iuchi_Zien: You don't think it could possibly because they can't AFFORD the healthy food you take for granted? Or because they haven't the education or healthcare to do anything about it
Who wouldn't need to if you paid a REASONABLE price for their produce rather than FORCING them to accept the lowest price you can get away with paying

----------------^
Funny you would say that. Iuchi. Just was at the local market. Mom ask me to buy some beef liver for her....because she was a little anemic. I bought enough for two servings. Know the price? $1.12 for 5/8 pound of beef liver. Pretty reasonable price yes? It is the same with all less desireables food....catfish don't cost as much as trout. Chicken does not cost as much as beef.

But then.....these are not acceptable food ....for many unemployed. Many of the 40% unemployed want only high priced food and high calorie foods and so refuse to eat anything less. A reason for that obeisity problems they have. And the diabetes problems they have.

And of course make million/billions of dollars out of the same poor to line the pockets of the wealthy who then whine about taxes
Because they can't see the point in getting an education, they aren't wealthy enough to get to university all they have to look forward to are the third world conditions of the inner city with no employment, crime and everything that goes with it. Do you think the 105 of US citizens who are unemployed WANT to be?

-------------------------^

What I think is this. That many of the unemployed have decided not to work. Studies increasingly show that they simply refuse to look for employment. Use to be that to get unemployment benefits, you had to show document of job interviews. I bet that no longer is the case. Not sure though.

I really hope one day you get the opportunity to join that community and see just what it is like, then we'll see just how much you believe in lower taxes

-------------------^

I have been in the American community for a long time. I have been unemployed....been laid off....been a lot things as I watched much occur in the country. I received my educational funding by working three jobs all four years of college....two in the summer time and one in the school year. I did not take grants....but loans that were paid back. I support economic independence and wealth creation for individuals, not wealth sharing. I have work for major 200 company and have been employed in small family business.

I hope sometime, you learn...the US is not your country. Your right to discuss our Constitution, our politics, our way of life, and its moral fabricate...need to be done with more respect and with more thought. If you don't know, ask first.

But don't assume you know. You quote our Constitution incorrectly, Iuchi...I just showed that in the post prior. You assume that poor here cannot buy food. I just showed food pricing that they can.
Anyone in the country with a high school GED or diploma can get a higher degree. Heck we have student athlete programs for students D grade point averages. If you cannot get a higher eduction here, it is your own fault....not the gov't or the tax payers.

Lower taxes are employment making here in the US. Not sure about Europe. At least that is the way they were in the past. When Reagon cut taxes to end his recession, he made employment. This gov't economic restructuring may change that.

If you decide to join us as some 17 millions do each year....then you will receive a basic understanding of the country thru citizenship education program that is required. Till then.....ask first. If not.....then we both knows where that take us.

Iuchi_Zien: No I just believe that it is he responsibility of the Government to protect ALL it's citizens, including those at the bottom of the heap. It is the responsibility of the government to provide a safety net for those who cannot help themselves and if this is abused by those who WILL not help themselves than that is just something we have to live with.

"Protect", Iuchi....not feed. When does "eating" become fall under concept being "protected". Sure if there is a enemy domestic or foreign threatening the nation's food production/supply, it does.
President Obama then has a duty to act on that threat.

It is like your position on health care. You say it is a Constitution right because of the word "protect". Liberals interpret the Constitution so broadly...specially foreign liberals.
It becomes a document that can say almost anything. But that is not the intend of the countries founding fathers. They wanted a restrictive and narrow interpretation of the Constitution. They did not want the FED Gov't having great amounts of unchecked power.

Nothing in the Constitution about a 'safety net'. Or a 'health care' programs. Indeed what is there....is to 'promote life, liberty and pursuit of happiness'.

You say pretty hard to be happy when you have a empty stomache or have an untreatable illness. I say we all will face a untreatable illness.....in life at one time. I say we all will face a empty stomache at a time in the future. The question is ....do we use intregrity and moral responsibility....for our actions and decisions that brought us to that empty stomache or illness.
Or do we steal the milk of children? And their future prosperity with health care bills in the trillions in some selfish act for ourselves?

'The poor will always be with us' and 'stealing the milk of children', both Jesus addressed in the new Testament. He also addressed the 'love of money' in it. When they pass 1.1t annual budgets in Washington, much with legislative earmarks....seems there is a hole lot of money loving going on. (that you can sing to Elvis P's There is a hole lot of shaking go on.).)

Iuchi_Zien: You would rather see US citizens dying of malnutrition, dying because healthcare is unavailable for the poorest? Already people see two America's one wealthy and whining about their taxes, the other living in third world conditions relying on charity to survive. Just remember those poorest of Americans outnumber you the wealthiest of Americans wait till they decide to revolt, because that is NOT going to be pretty.

The ones whining about taxes are the ones producing the food for the 40% of Americans that on gov't relief and food stamps....and they (the 40%) are often considered by many Drs to be obiese. So it seems even poorest in America live with more calorie that the rest of the world.

The rest of the world, specially the 3rd world seems to take USADID
(from those whining taxer payers and thier dollars) with little thanks or gratitude. All one has to do is listen to a ranting Islamic cleric in Middle east to figure that out. Or make it, Rev Wright or Father Phelger here in the US. Their churches got FED gov't grants...but they both complained about the FED Gov't policies.

The poor here and the poor in the rest of the world don't mind American AG firms that make the food, employ millions in small family businesses, take business and financial risks .....then these same poor, thru gov't income redistribution schemes, want these same tax payers to pay them to eat it.

How can I say that? Because it is a pretty hard thing to say. But also accurate. Some school dist. now are saying the best way to get inner city youth to attend school....pay them, where they get free lunch programs paid for by those tax payers. Want another. Food stamp programs were unemployed now have been given extension of their unemployment benefits. Many of those 40% qualify for extended unemployment benefits from a small business that employed them recently. Now let go from employment....they get on a food stamp program and collect first normal unemployment benefits and then the extended benefits.....that are paid for by.....yes the employing firm and the US taxpayer.

That to me seem just little on unjust side of the balance sheet of life.

Finally I don't mind a woman with 3 kids to feed being on a food stamp program when unemployed. I don't mind a man that can work being on one when times are tough. But the only way you keep your businesses operating in those tough times....is not to place a heavier tax burden on them and on the employed taxpayer....so that employment will eventually be there when the economy changes...is to have unemployment programs that are bare bones.

With 40% not paying taxes and now living off the countries 60% taxpayer....there is a tax revolt coming in the country. The tax burden is too high and not shared across the country.

In my thinking the DEM and President Obama planned this in their liberal agenda....and set the policy with vast deficit spending. In other words triggered it. I figure.....when the new personal tax rate comes out early next year....2-3 month prior to April 15 tax deadline...is when it will begin. It will make the Tea bag parties seem like Church choir sessions. Opps there goes 2010 for the DEMs. And then looking ahead to 2012.....

I am very happy Barack Obama will be in town

I am REP and don't hate nature. When younger loved to bounce down ski slopes on ski patrols. Trying to keep humans from find to much nature on mountains. ) When older and I moved to Florida...use to take wildlife photo...mostly waterfoul on migratory flights to the Fl Everglades.

One morning woke to a thin line of V flight of waterfoul headed north in early winter. It went from one horizon to the other.
Now early winter....why are waterfoul headed north in winter, in large numbers?

Well I understand this well enough to have an answer. They were flying from the Everglades in the south to swamps north of Jacksonville, Fl. Why? Because, it had gotten overcrowded in the Everglades for their nesting. They need a certain distance between nest to breed. Relocating gave them more nesting room.

So to say that REP are nature haters because they contest global warming theory and now see the flawed process that E. Anglican carried out their research. Is a stretch.

Teddy Roosevelt was first a REP...attempted to get the REP Presidential nomination...but when he failed...started his Progessive Party. He is the President with greatest impact in American history on nature with 1000s of square miles of forest that were made into National parks during. So the roots of the American Progressive and American environmentalism are in the REP party of the time. Not the DEMs of today.

Today many American small business....that are often REP...exists because of nature. C. Florida has 1000s of acres of foilage firms that grow flowers and fauna for resell. They ofter relay on nature
for sun and water to grow their products. Another is palm trees growers. The list is long of small business types that use nature to provide products and elements of nature for cultivation.

One common thing that they all use? Electricity. If Cap and Trade gets passed...there is going to be major increase in the cost of electricty. REP are now saying some 2m jobs will be lost in the US. Now consider.

We are at a 10% rate in unemeployment in the US today. You add 2+m jobs lose on that....we are at 14%... maybe even higher.

If Obama keeps burying our economy with debt.....we will never get from the BOP debt with China. The Countries bond ratings will surely go down. With that....another major hit on the financial markets. You wish another trigger to a global depression....there it is.

Obama hailed the Senate as it is about pass a 1.1t for most of the FED government budgeting for 2010. Only DoD's $626b was excluded but will come soon. Do the math....304m people in the country....50% are adults....150m people....only 60% of them pay tax.....so the US tax burden is placed on 90m on them.

They will lay the $1.1t gov't budget. Plus $626b for defense. pre capita that breaks out to be $19,177 per individual tax payer in FED Gov budget. Average media household income with two working....$65,000. Over 1/2 median income of a household will soon go to the FED gov't.

With our corporate tax rate at 35-50% depending on the type of Corp. Already second highest in the world. They cannot increase the corporates rates...heck the corp are failing....bailouts remember? Corps have little taxable income.

The triggering reason the country revolted against the British? Unfair Taxes. Obama and the DEMs have brought the country to a tax revolt. Sure as we chat and blog here......

Oh you will call it REP and being anti Obama....racists and hate mongering by Tea baggers.... with tax burdens like that....no society could endure for long. Reminds me of the Pharoah's forcing the Jewish people to build houses without straw in the clay. Everyone knew it fall apart in short time. Unhealthy and excessive tax burdens are the same. Civil society falls apart in short time.

Iuchi_Zien: We get US news media over here and I do watch and compare with UK and Russian media and I will say that the US media we get is on the whole biased, badly researched (if researched at all) and on the whole I wouldn't believe Fox News (one of the channels we get) if it told me White was white! If that places me with strange bed fellows it just goes to prove that the world is a strange place.

You must have lot of TVs going, Iuchi. Pretty hard to watching all...the US channels.....to come to your unbaised position on US media and the Us in general.

But you did not address....if the US FED prosecutors make a media show of SMK trial...in the future....are you going to see that 'fair play' and 'acceptable professional prosecutor behavior' within the standard of fair jurispurdence?

I mean the US prosecutors can paint the much of Islamic world with the coming SMK trial. Show pics of Daniel Pearl beheading....show
persons leaping from the towers...screams from the planes. Is that fair for US prosecutors to go public with? Or would you prefer it kept within the court room?

Where do you stand here?

Keeneland: Where are you getting these so called Facts?????? You are getting them from the US media who are catering to a US audience. They are biast in this case. You are calling items you are obvioulsy reading as fact! And judging by your last post it is plain to see that you want here released. You would have a murderer released just cause she is American You are far from objective Ttom. You think everything red, whte and blue is perfect and the rest of the world is in your shadow.

As said I don't have to. And it is going to be easy for the Amanda Knox team to replay and read the prosecutor public statements and media releases to the appeals court, Keeneland.

That is the thing that hung the NC Proscutor on the Duke Lacross Players case out to dry. Their defense walked into both the courts and media of public opinion...with his public statements.....and just nailed him to the wall. They had him disbarred in the end. And paying restitution to the 3 player accused.

The Italian prosecutor has placed the Amanda Knox case into question by the way he handled it. That old..."no comment"....was not written and taught in law schools for no reason.

Iuchi_Zien: The US media has a completely biased view on what has happened (because they are responding to their audience) so unless you can provide sources outside the US media or the Defence team (who are also bias) why should we take the 'facts' you have put forward seriously?

Now there is fair and unbaised post. It condems the entire US media and Amanda Knox defense team. But it does place you into a strange bed fellows, Iuchi Zien. With Ann Coulter.....a hard line REP....that also thinks that Amanda Knox is quilty and the US media is overpaying the case.

Honestly, people here are split on the issue of Knox's guilt and innocence.

You and Keeneland are saying....she is guilty....a Italian court ruled..... now be humble sheep and accept the verdict. No misconduct could ever occur on American in a foreign legal system.

I sited the Natalee Holloway case....you guys blow thru it like a murder did not occur and the Dutch and Aruban Gov't investigated and prosecuted the such a manner that they can be awarded the next Historical Crimes Solved plaque.

Even when they got him in video tape discussion of the night and his involvement........they cannot bring him to trial. So yes more American think all the time, that foreign legal systems are merely for the foreigners and locals.

Keeneland: I have faith in the judicial systems of all EU, US and first world countries. Although no system is perfect it really annoys me that when a citizan of the US or UK is convicted of a crime in a foreign country there is an outcry.
You said she may be innocent or guilty well i beg to differ,. She was found guilty by an Italian court so in my eyes she is guilty. If someone has any real evidence to prove me wrong i will eat my words but US and UK media propaganda is not eveidence. Do you guys believe everything you read in the paper.
I have faith in the Italian Police, Judge and Jury.

That is quite a statement to make, Keeneland. Faith in the Italian Police, Judge, and Jury!

Then pretty easy for you...now know knowing beyond a shadow of doubt that she is guilty....will you eat those words if in the appeal process....the Italian appeal process...I might add....she is found innocent?

See I don't have to prove her innocent. To have you eating those words.

The Italian appeal process....could show prosecutor misconduct, Keeneland. If so, likely there will be another trail so will not be a release. But the idea of you have lunch on your words...is very appealing. So wishing know now, if and when Amanda Knox leaves a Italian jail free....what salad dressing will be used? I will buy the bottle.

Keeneland: Ttom does not debate???? He ignores whatever valid points he reads and spouts out a page of US propaganda with every post. Thats not debating.

Well....let us keep it to the topic at hand, Keeneland. You have already mis quoted me several time in your post. But am not making personal.

And there is not a formal US position on the Amanda Knox case as of yet. So what you are reading here from me....certainly cannot be spouting US propaganda.

Keeneland: Ok Ttom..i tell you what. Would this make you happy? From now on any US citizan suspected of a crime in any other country should be sent to the US to face trail because the rest of the world is backward and corrupt?
We al;l know what a great human rights record you have over there and how your police force and judicial system is not biast and racist and we all know that a US citizan coul never be guily of such a horrible murder.
Are you for real??????????????????

I did not say that. I said there there are cases for prosecutor misconduct both here in the US and elsewhere. I did not exclude the US in the post..indeed did showed 1 historical US case of prosecutor misconduct....and one coming case where it could easily apply. I said she could be GUILTY or INNOCENT, Keeneland.

This thread is not about trying to make me happy. But for us all to look a little closer at how expats and traveling persons are and can be treated by foreign legal systems, Keeneland.

You y'all )), brought the case of the UK girl kidnapping Portuguese police handling into the thread. I did not do that. But it is on point to what can happen in foreign parties criminal investigations and court cases around the world. Seem y'll is not very happy with the ways some foreign cases are being handled either.

One of the arguements being made here in the US. Is that the Italian prosecutor is up for reelection or reappointment. That he saw the case as a way to win his office again. Much like the Duke Lacros Players case in the US. So he makes a public case..in the media. Which sadly was not kept from the jurors.

Most traveling Americans do know that they are under the host countries laws and its civil court system. While Italy is not Iran,
prosecutor misconduct can occur anyplace. Americans have seen that in the Aruba Island Murder case of Natalee Holloway.

Personally none here know if the girl is innocent or guilty. Likely none here have followed the case close enough to know all the details. I know that I don't.

But there is something unsavory in trying a murder case, in the media by the state. The state has much advantage coming into court in the first place...from evidence, witness statements, police officers statements... then to add in media exposure and local opinion to the case? That can make a unfair forum? Yes?

Take it to a coming American case for moment. The SMK New York City
trial. Think that the world opinion of the US is enhanced if the FED prosecutors make their case in the world media with daily press conferences, press releases, displays of 9/11 photos and video, and evidence to SMK guilt?

I think that the world would see it the same way...these are some
FED prosecutors making a name....for some future public office.
But don't get me wrong....I suspect that is exactly what is going to happen in the SMK case by both the Defense and State. The question will be if the US judge places a media gag order on it.

Which bring us back to the Italian judges......why did they (I think that it is three that sit in Italian courts)...not place a media gag order on it?

We are going to have a new definition of 'chump change'. That being $3.6b. You say WoW that is alot of money. Sorry not when you place into the following context.

This is like when everyone at the office empties his/hew pocket change out.....placed it into the cup....and the entire group came up with a $5.43 for the morning doughnuts.

So what is the $3.6b for? That this what the entire 16 EU countries are willing to give for global warming. As said 'chump change'. Here the European continent has run amock with idea that tomorrow children will be living in desert like conditions....crying for help. (E.G the opening video of the Copenhagen Climate conference).

Then when asked to dig into their piggie banks for a solution
find a rusted EU and a torn 1 pound note. So what gives?

I think that they are sitting there waiting for Uncle Sam.....to do his amazing global funding tricks. With Cap and Trade as the mechanism. EU countries can politiely sit back.....and have smooth concsience to keeping teh young girl from screaming in her dreams....
by saying....we sure got the Americans to handle that global warming for us.

Even if it did take some crudy science and fabercation by one of esteemed Univeristies (Emailgate), we got the Yanks to foot the bill for the problem.

Europeans know that when the United States gov't starts financing things....like this....$3.6b is chump change. Hence I think that I am right on in the post.

One has to remember...there are 340m Europeans....and 304m Americans. I suggest the US gives along to the global warming cause .....to the same per capita as the Europeans did. That would be about $3b. Fair enough?

But oh no.....not according to Europeans and the world....that says...the US emits more and should pay more. Under European rules, Europe has been addressing this problem for year and years. Those BMWs that zip down the autobahn don't emit much. Well under the GWB administration....according to Carl Rove....the US has been close to the meeting the Koyto accords emission reduction standards. So there!

European liberal and left have been crying about CO2 emission and the near end of the world for over 10 years. Now when it comes time to funding it.....Europeans cannot find more than chump change. Either that...or even they have become....doubters to the global warming theory and the faulty science it is founded on.

Just a guess on my part. Since the Senator and REP from the Knox home states districts have already had meetings with Sect of State Clinton. On this issue the day following the verdict. They and her family will be pressing the Obama administration to intervene. Will it?

I don't know.

If it decides to....it is no longer a non-issue.

Well....seems like the President might be having some developing troubles in Hollywood.....

Angelina Joline just task the president on his lack to be forceful in the Sudan. Angelina has been the UN special envoy to the Sudan since 2001...so this region of the world and its problems have a special interest to her.

I quote "Their (Obama Administration)policy, though, raises a number of questions. How is the Obama Administration;s approach to the Sudan an evolution of justice? I would like to know what that means, besides the point that thier lives could hardly get any worse."

and

"The Administration has not yet announced any serious moves to enforce the decision of the ICC and there will be increasing pressure on the United States and its partners to bring stability to the Sudan, even at the expense of criminal accountability."

and

"Like many Americans, I support the Administration's willingness to engage diplomatically, even with regimes we abhor. And I believe that President Obama and his special envoy will do their best to bring peace to the region." she said."I also hope that we will act sooner and more powerfully to prevent future atrocities."

Pretty tough day to get the Nobel Peace Prize and to be tasked by a famed movie actress on human rights issues in the Sudan. But seems that is the kind of day, the President is having.

But as I read her words....I ask myself...."more powerfully" and
"expense of criminal accountability" and "increased pressure"....bring questions like is she advocating military intervention? taking the Sudan gov't to the Hague or some other criminal court?

Because sending in the sheriff to warrant and pull the Sudanese President and his cabinet out of the country....ain't going to happen, Joline. It is a great movie script, but in real life...he has more guns than the sheriff does.

Are there bad things happening in the Sudan. Most certainly. While on one hand AJ are encouraging that President Obama is going to bring peace to the region....you are not telling us how far and what resources for him to bring this peace. Is sending in the US military acceptable with you? If not all you have left him with a
bully pulbit of the White House.

So? JA......I command your activitism...but in giving advice to gov't leaders....you need to answer the tough questions if you are going to task them.

Hot_Single_Dude: Already around 40 billion dollers of TARP package is paid back because of a light recovery in american economy... great news TT... no????
Need a link for this in my eyes very happy news?
Oak then better stop listening Fox and reading conservative media for getting information only and getting insterested in other media as well.
Have still not heard ANY positve news regarding recovery in american economy TT... right? Do you really talk to any body unless they are right winged or some thing?
I have heard from my family and friends who are in construction business as well as in other fields in USA that the wheels are moving and a lot positive events happening almost all over the country. And yes TT... the very best way of getting America back to the right track regarding economy is green jobs, investing in roads and bridges and schools and universities and hospitals and specially in isolation of the houses and stuff like that.

Do you know many other countries where some bridges actually are collopsing becasue of lack of care and federal investments ... I mean modern and rich nations as America really is.

How many new jobs are there to create regarding what I mention in here? tens of millons of jobs TT yes tens of millions!

I have never seen so many houses in any country before where the need for a better isolation and better windowns and more efficiant air conditioning and better electricity mannagment and stuff like that is greater than it is in America.

Need an economichal break throguh Do some thing a bout all this!

Or ... stay a real republican and keep nagging a bout
"more Co2 is actually good for the natur... or
"we just need to occupy those bastards countries and stealing their oil "
or doing not a damn thing and other than calling your self a plumber for example and keep cheating american society in taxes and steal money from the real plumbers and when ever some body asked why? Shoot him!

Actually, BA paid $45b. But the treasury will never see it. The DEMs are already planning to use it secondary stimulus bills.

What the DEMs wanted was a Gov't slush fund. Some thing that would have billions coming in and out from. That they could tap anytime they wanted. For what ever purpose. They got it.

But if you think that the American people....the tax payers....that gave them the TARP funds will ever see money back into the Treasury.......don't hold hold you breath. Because you will have more CO2 building up in your system than what is healthy for you.

REP like me...say...we need to tap those offshore oil fields....like BP did with Tiber a few months ago. Then sell it to Europe and China at $75ppb...make our BOP even and revalue the $ to the Euro. Does that not make a lot of sense?

Then if we invade a country.....because as President Obama did say at his Noble Peace award ceremony....there is evil in world. And war is a sometimes a necessity. But it will not be because of oil.

By the way....Palin, Grinrich and other REP are complimenting Pres. Obama's Nobel Peace Speech.

Hey....did you hear of the Clinton campaign hired PR firm that got $6m of TARP funds.....and employeed......exactly 3 people with it? Yep, another stellar employing use of TARP. But hey...wait till those green jobs come in for the prisoners of the United States.

When the rest of the mostly unemployeed country....will have to steal to eat....they can make the rest of us of prisoners..... to forces us to work for them in the FPI. I think that is the reverse chain gang theory of Van Jones.)

How about those Russians. So nice of them to test a sub's missile on the eve of President Obama getting the Noble peace prize in Norway.
Yep lit up the entire sky....over Norway....with a dud that spiraled out of control.

Of course the Norweigans and those attending the Noble Peace ceremonies....thought it was a signal of the second coming. 1/3 of them, fled to Churches. 1/3 rushed to President Obama seeking 'the one' and his guidance. 1/3 stood wondering how they could tie it into the global warming theory of E. Anglican University.

President Obama was unmoved by the Russian display. Saying hey....they had more on the Artic Sea that was headed to Iran than one. Besides I have my own nuclear subs and mine shoot straight.

But one has to think some....with the Russians choosing that day for an unannounced missile test....what else they might have up their sleeves for the Obama administration and the west. Hey who knows...??

Think that the Russians were completely upfront in the 1993 CTRs? Well if you do, I have some property east of Kennedy Space Center to discuss with you.

But at this time...am wondering why do the extension of the SALT II. Really if the Russians only have duds....why worry about them very much? Why reduce nucs....when the other side does not have a releiable delivery system? Hang on to them....let the Russians come to negotiate on your terms. Force them to invest and build a workable delivery system. I know old cold war thinking there. Yes that bankrupted the Russian. Gosh we don't want to do that these days.

Then again.....those Russians are pretty tricky at times....they might have just planned to have a failure on this launch for President Obama benefit. To make him think that they don't have a delivery system....and it need not be included in their discussions. My bet is...the next time this bird flies....it will fly true and straight.

Oh well, so much for a inspirational fireworks display from the Russians on President Obama's Noble Peace prize day.

Yep those 80 are now part of the 10.0% unemployed while the 160 FED
Gov't prisoners are making anywhere from a few dollar per hour to five dollar per hour....to make these solar cells in prison workshops.

All under a program run by FPI. Now FPI has a special relationship for manatory sourcing with the FED Gov't. If a FPI prison operating unit makes a product....then the FED gov't has to purchase it....no matter what the price or quality.

So what American green firms are doing...is subcontracting FPI to
manufacturer their products in US, in prison work shops, so that they get preferred business relationship with the FED Gov't. At the costs of honest American jobs.

This...was all organized by Van Jones...the Green Czar....prior to his leaving the White House.

Were else do they have a lot of prison employment? Red China. Yep,
That country on the other side of Pacific, that bought Hummer from the Obama Administration. Likely many of the parts for that Chinese Hummer will come from those prison work shops. Of course China, imprisons....political prisoners..... men and women that have more than one child.

China prisons also make things like AK-47 and RPGs and land mines. But pretty hard for our present Administration to condemn China's prisons manufacturing....when it is doing the same.

FPI has been around since 1934. A long time. Do prisoner need emploment? Sure. But do you give prisoners job training in the hottest economic area you plan to build on? Green zone? Allow them to compete and take jobs away from Amerians when you have a 10%
unemployment rate? Under this Administration you do.

Conrad73: Dude crying Propaganda!http://news.yuhou.com/20091209/ap_on_bi_ge/us_healfh_care_overhaulYour Computer is broken again, the link works with me!

What did you read, Conrad? Private insurance companies being carrier with the FED gov't paying the premiums, yes?

Same thing as a voucher program.yes?

Only the DEM could not do back Nov.-Dec of last year. Was to close to the Election. If they accepted a idea from McCain, it would make him the unofficial leader of the REP party. The last thing they wanted. He was already the leader of the REP party. So they had to minimize him. Hence no deal on this easy and simply health care solution.

So they put the country thru 12 months of health care agony....screaming, personal attacks, name calling, and tea parties....to see mounting resistance. They get scared when Reid is having trouble on his 60 votes.....and so go back to the original workable concept...with some trimmings.

DEMs...................doh

This administration is going to get Osama Bin Laden... dead or alive!!

Are you threatening me? I don't have to do diddlysquat much less act as informer on other Americans. Men of law my tush....men who hide behind the law and men who use the law. President Obama has tax cheats, communists, and inmate of prisons working for him.

I hate to tell you...there are very few NAZI in the USA. And even they have Constitutional rights. But heck....those rights ain't so special any more....since you can be a foreign fighter or terrorist get awarded them by this administration. How this Administration has cheapen the rights of Americans with SMK trial in NYC.

You know Dude....in WWII....there were some 60,000 German prisoner held in the US. They could have done war crime trials on them here in the country. Russia would have loved it. Rather they moved them back to Germany and released them. Course we could have given them to the Russians...and they taken them to Siberia. Funny how Germans of today forget that.

SMK will get more press, more legal assistance, more attention that most Americans will get in a lifetime of peaceful living and honoring the country. But he gets American rights extended to him....the same man that killed 3000 and executed Daniel Pearl like he was nothing. For a show, President Obama gives him American rights and legal loop holes. What barf

Get bin Laden....LOL.....not until they go into Iran will they find bin Laden. That ain't happening any time soon. Certainly not by this President. Pres. A. and Putin have Obama wrapped around their little fingers. They know it. Is the reason the crack down in Iran continues. Why Putin wants to come back to office in Russia.

He realizes he has a soft touch in Obama. Sees another hero of Russia medal coming up.

As for you knowing what an Patriotic American was or was not....I would not place much confidence in. You who supported ACORN's voter programs that undermine the concept of 1 vote and 1 person....is not the one to know what a patriotic American is.

But the day bin Laden gets caught or gets a hellfire....will be a win.....but I wonder what the Las Vegas odds that it will be Pres. Obama at the trigger? Everyday it grow bigger. Obama is like Clinton...the man that cannot shoot straight...when it comes to bin Laden. He will take 2+ months to decide if it should be a kill mission or a capture mission on bin Laden. By the time it is over bin Laden will have fancy NYC law firm rep him. Forcing BO to give Mirada rights to him if a Predator is in the area.))

As for threats to Obama. I am not his secret service, that group of extremely short haired conservative types that guard the President. You got worries about his safety, take it to them.
