first answer - yes I think it's in your best interest to e-mail or send flowers if you're interested or else you will never know if you don't go.
It also let's you know if there's possibility of something or no. As Sask secret has found that there is no interest in the distance game, but how would one know, unless the e-mail/flower was sent. That is when you find out or not, either by a response or none at all.

There are some of you that I find to be beautiful people because the more I read your responses which allow me insight to your views, opinions and personalities, the more I find you "Attractive". Sure, a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes those thousand are used up pretty quick.
