5 Signs She’s Into You

You and a pretty redhead are tucked away in a corner table at that impossible-to-get-into new French bistro. And lo and behold, you notice she’s laughing at your jokes, twirling her hair, and giving other crystal-clear signs she’s into you. Or is she? Problem is, it can be hard to tell sometimes whether a woman is truly interested or just going through the motions. But luckily, there are plenty of ways to tell the difference. The signs below are the real deal.

She keeps freshening up
If she’s excusing herself to the toilet between courses, it’s doubtful she has a weak bladder. Nope, more likely she’s in there freshening up her makeup or making sure her hair is in place... all for you. “If she’s into you, she’ll be concerned with how she looks,” says Alison James, author of the forthcoming Better Off Wed? Fling... or Ring: How to Know Which Finger to Give Him. “Or, if she’s at the table, she’ll be fixing her shirt or brushing her hair back, maybe checking that her bra strap isn’t showing or adjusting her necklace—the kind of stuff you do when you’re worried about your appearance.”

She asks about your family
“When a woman likes a man she doesn’t want to get to know just him,” says Jillian Straus, author of Unhooked Generation: The Truth About Why We’re Still Single. “She wants to know about his family and friends—she’s looking for clues about what life with him would be like.” Indeed, especially if you’ve been set up or are on a blind date and know very little about each other, your relationship with your family says a lot about you—and a woman interested in you won’t hesitate to probe. “I think family is very revealing about a person’s personality,” says Tina Andreadis, 35,. “If he’s close with his family, it shows that he’s probably a warm person who values relationships and who would want a family of his own. If I am not interested in him, I won’t even ask because I just don’t care.”

She’s attentive
Let’s put it this way: No matter how busy she is, she’s not whipping out her Blackberry if she’s interested in what you have to say. “If she’s not checking her watch, email or mobile phone, it’s just one more sign that she’s paying attention to you,” says James. “When you like a guy, you’re hanging on his every word. When you don’t, you’re distracted easily.” Same goes for any preoccupations she has with the immediate environment, whether she’s people-watching or admiring the restaurant décor or even the food. If she’s saying things like, “This restaurant is beautiful. Hey, doesn’t that girl over there look like Cat Deeley?” she may be enjoying herself, but not necessarily because you’re there.

She’s touchy-feely
If you find your date engaging in a little physical contact along with witty banter, chances are you’ve made a very good impression. From tapping your knee to emphasise a point or touching your forearm to get your attention, if a woman’s attracted to you, she won’t hesitate to reach out and let you know. Megan, 35, from London, employs this trick with guys she finds attractive. “I pretend to steady myself when I don’t need to be steadied,” she says. “When I’m climbing onto a bar stool, I’ll grab onto his shoulder or leg when I clearly don’t need to,” she laughs.

Men : Pay ATTENTION TO THIS....

It is the best summery of "How to tell if a Woman is Interested" ....I have read yet...

Now....How do we know if you're interested?

I just finished "The Secret"......I have the DVD but haven't seen it yet. It's about the Law of Attraction and Manifestation.

I was disappointed that she seems emphasize that all power begins in the self = ego based. She avoids an integral part of the Law and that is God/Spirit.

I like the book. The principle is true. However you must ask of God for your manifestation, state that it has already been accomplish as you invision receicvng it (it has in the Spiritual relm)...and give thanks and praise to God for it's completion. Then just go about life as though it has happened.

That's the REAL Secret!!

What if you don't believe in God? Think out of the box..... God is Love is Buddah is Mohammad is Jesus is Allah is Yaweh is Edoni is The Creator is The Life Force is Energy is Eternity...God is a verb .....When you are Kind, Compassionate and Forgiving....God is shining in YOU.....God is IN YOU ALWAYS. ...

Ask yourself: What religon is LOVE?

After the appitizer, I would excuse myself to the ladies' room pick up the smallest automatic weapon there is that was placed there ealier(hopefully this fits in my purse).... return to the table. As I begin the main entree I drop some on my lap....and well....let's say the war in Iraq will be over. Chenney will die of a heart condition.

At present I am reading "THE SECRET". I am also reading "A Course In Miracles" and listen to books on tape, which differ from the original book quite a bit.scold I started "A Purpose Driven Life" but didn't get to finish. I'm a one book at a time person. I read for content. For example, I wouldn't pick up a novel unless Jesus told me it was a good thing to read. handshake Mostly read: DIY, How to's and Self Improvement Books.

I Love to learn!kiss

Hi BeachFarmer!

Love the Frige box !!applause
That's not "nerdy" that's creative !

....Another favorite toy: plastic jungle animals....I'd go out in the yard and build them a jungle out of grass, sticks, leaves...anything I could find....They had personalities and social dynamics...that was good for several hours of fun !!

yay

Hello Everyone !!! handshake

What was your favorite toy/game when you were a kid? ( and why?)

One of my favorites was jumping off of the roof with a bed sheet.
Why? I wanted to fly....of course. It was the free fall that was fun ....not the sudden stop...ha ha ha.

In response to:
Be not broken in heart or antler
Or believe the summons or summoner
Or solitude a destiny pre-chosen
Certainly not that Love has a preferred climate

Harnessing spirit is a futility we all try
To learn the attempt is only a show of force
Power lay in letting go harboring strength
in release and a True sense of home

I too am just a passer through
Vulnerable to the trappings of vanity
Again futility being force and power
Found in surrender, for we are not seperate from love

Power, light, love,and dimension
Persist everywhere all the time
(for lack of a better term)
To prove existence, One only need "be"

-I-
"for we are not seperate from love"

...There in lives the Truth.

In response to:
Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack; Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare; Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water; Like me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.
--Hymn Of Buddha--
Broken the heart of the Unicorn
Whose own begining has summond her end
Destined to wander alone in this world
Through deserts where Love should have been...

Her Spirit is cast of unearthly powers
Something this world's never known.
It's source and it's strength she harbors within
Is all that reminds her of home.

Her home is not here and she knows this.
Yet she serches in vain for a sign
In hopes that she may know what Love is.
It all seems so futile sometimes.

She belongs to the light of another world
Where the power of Love persists.
Yet she was born into this dimension
To prove that the other exists.

-Me-

If your dating and not happy, dump him. Move on and see the other guy.
Personally, i cant multiple date. I think my values tell me one at a time.
I'm not going to cheat....I'm going to gather the guts to break up.I would never want anyone to cheat on me (Who do I think I am if I can't abide by my own ethics??) ..who knows, maybe he's thinking the same thing.

Even if I end up having coffee by myself....sigh

....Oh and why would I cheat? You would think it would be for revengedevil

but not at all, really..... I've brought this up to him:

1. He seems reluctant to be with me in public or to meet any of his friends.(guys help me out here)*

2. We talk about a current event (MAYBE) and then watch TV.*(and here too)

Of course this is all from my perspective.....which doesn't account for the whole truth ...we've been dating only 3mos and it's like we've been married 25yrs.......

You all have been there....and the answer is: If you're not happy...1st try to discuss it then ...don't cheat break up....

It's not even about this other guy.....

OK....here's a situation....True: I've never cheated...always broke up if I felt the need to date others innocent

.... However, now I'm dating a guy and I am considering cheating. scold

By cheating I mean having coffee with another guy that has been asking me for awhile. I've been saying no....but not that I have a b/f. uh oh!

I suspect my b/f is cheating on me sigh
....However, that does not make it right for me to do the same.

Besides...I may be trying to justify MY cheating....if I did so...but then...Haven't I already cheated just considering having coffee with this other guy?.....dunno

What do you think?

In response to:
True love does exist and it starts with you. YOu have to fall in love with yourself. Be a lover to yourself, nurture yourself. Be in deep communication with yourself. Whatever the traits you are looking for in a partner you are are most likely longing to develop in yourself. Once you begin to feel whole and open for deep sharing through personal experience, you will attract, like a magnet your true love. Be clear and let yourself resonate.
TRUE LOVE DOES EXIST !!! You are RIGHT ON THE MARK with your reply!!

applause applause applause

Keep in mind, to "fall in Love with yourself" is not meant in a
narcissistic manner. Read 1st Corinthians 13:4 <<<(this is TRUE LOVE)
for those of you who are not sure.

Also, DO NOT confuse infatuation love
with TRUE LOVE kiss kiss

....the difference is quite painful.crying

Thank You for your post Lady luck!

Dear Katers,

Tell Keno's family this:

Without a doubt, Keno lives still. He wants very much for you to know this. Nothing has changed. All that has happened is that the illussion of Keno is no longer visable (his body). It's OK.....All that Keno is still lives. Do not treat him as though he were dead. We grive for ourselves only because we believe what our eyes tell us. Know with all your heart that he is alive and with you. Know with your hearts....not your eyes.

LOVE,

MARY*
