You are missing the point - I think Eric and I are both making the same points but differently.
As he rightly said, successive governments have shut all the older facilitites down and in most cases have sold the properties off to developers for huge profits that have NOT been re-invested in social needs.

The ONLY way for the ordinary folk like us now will PROBABLY be to form vigilante groups because the police have been rendedred powerless by the legal system decided and influenced by politicians in the cabinets.

Politicians of all parties spout hot air but do NOTHING while they are in parliament and repeat the performance again after they get re-elected. They are only in it for the money and corruption if they can get away with it and they are.

When caught I still say the bullet and quicklime is the cheapest way to finalise all proven murderers, Paedophiles and child killers.
Why should I as a tax paying penshioner withg no criminal or debt record fund their luxury lifestyle in the jails?

ALL the people who covered up Baby P should be facing automatic manslaughter sentences with NO TRIAL, with hard labour for 12 years and no remission. If that were in place as a deterrent ALL the parasites involved in this case would have to make bloody sure they did their jobs properly.

Thank you mike im not very good at this your right we are thinking the same way

i dont agree with a vigilante society........................this is about the kids and how we should try to do something to help the tots who day in day out suffer this sort of treatment. thats the problem with some people..................hell bent on revenge when its the kids we should be concentrating on.

I know your right and the children come first and we should stop this from happening , but like others im just so angry and these children are loosing their life`s and those that took that life should pay with their`s

yes we have all been touched and no doubt shed a few tears..............and we will do the same the next time it happens because it will. but what do any of us actually do.................bay for blood at the time, then forget about it and get on with our cosy little lives.......................how sad. there are other kids out there who everyday are going through what baby P did......................and we sit pointing the finger at the guilty ones.....................we are all guilty in some form, we all know it happens but we still do nothing.

The goverment are to blame past and present , the shutting down of mental hospitals where people like this were put before they could hurt anybody , im sorry if this upsets others but i do beleave that we should turn the clock back and reopen the hospitals and bring back corporal punishment i.e hanging , it make`s me so mad that the law is set up to protect the scum like baby P killers , you are right we do nothing , maybe some sort of vigilantly society is what we need .

i have tried to avoid reading anything about this at all, but i gave in and read a couple of articles.................horrific. the thing is we are all sitting here saying (quite rightly ) that heads should roll.............for people like that long painful torture is what id like to do to them.

but i for one feel totally guilty now, what do we as individuals do when something like this happens? we sit back and bay for blood but we dont get off our backsides and do anything constructive. where are we all when the social work dept are calling out for foster parents for unfortunate kids who have had a terrible start in life?? think we all need to a look at ourselves too.

I agree with you 100% , i watch a 76yr old woman cry as she read the story in the paper about baby P we have all been touched by him .

Hi Mike ,I do agree with you but these people aren`t the only one`s to blame , WE ALL ARE how many baby`s , children , woman , are going through this sort of thing and we the public choose turn away and ignore whats happening all around us , we chat to friends about the woman down the road thats taken enougher beeting from that bloke she with or the child thats being bullied all the time , but thats all we do untill something like this happens then we call for the blood of those people that we can point the finger at and say they aren`t doing their job`s and then we sit back and feel bad for the child thats died which makes us feel also better .
The goverment sit back and love this , let`s turn the clock back to when there were hospitals for people like baby P`s mum`s boyfriend that enjoyed hurting thing`s , on TV last night they said that he use to brake the leg`s of animals for fun . If we can`t put these people away then we should put them down , we need to stop letting the do gooders making the rules and go back to a time when people like this man were hung or put away before they could kill .

LET`S STOP BLAMING EACH OTHER AND ALL JOIN TOGETHER TO STOP THIS ALL OVER THE UK

You are of course quite correct

I refuse to divulge my belief, what ever it is, its not for me to tell people, up to themselves to find their own path.

But you cannot censor a forum just because you don't agree with a particular subject or if it goes against your personal view.

Sometimes its even enlightening, and can help understand one another, especially with regard to religion.

There was a post in the INT section by a woman in India that spoke about Muslims, A shame that it got buried, it was a superb post, if more people understood Muslims and their religion, we would all be living in a far happier place.

No I am not a Muslim

Hi Kevint and Trish , i agree with you that whether your belief is in God , Allah ,Buddha , or money the fact is yes you have the right to your believes and what you have said about the woman in India that spoke about muslims yes thats fine write what ever you want but make sure that it is titled right so if you want to read it you know the content . This video was put on by people that were out to offend others , other wise they should have titled it Allah 11 return . i love you Allah ? .

The sado that I am, I was trawling through the singles websites, perchance to meet "the one", when I came across a profile of a guy who is the boyfriend of a very good friend of mine and they are now living together. He stated on his profile that he was single and looking for Miss Right and that he had viewed the site that same day.

The advice needed is what should I do??????? My initial reaction is to tell my friend, but just wondered what others thought.

I know they are due to go on a well deserved holliday at the end of May with another two close friends and don't know if I should put it off till after that or tell the couple that they are going on holliday with???

Please help I would like to get a male and a female viewpoint and then come to a decision. Thanks to all who reply.

Hi Sue my stepfather use to do this to my mum , in the day`s before computer`s at home , he would use a news paper ad . A friend of my mum`s told hir and it devastated hir , although he was found out and mum forgive him he done it time and time again he told hir it was for the sex only he had a high sex drive , mum ended the relationship when she couldn`t take any more . The friend that told mum said that she told hir because she was to frightend to face Robert , but she did say that if she`d known a man that could have faced him she would have done that insted dunno if this helps youtip hat

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends.

Life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards.

You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, spend your last nine months floating . . . then finish off as an orgasm.
Sounds good to me!

Great sign me up dancing banana but for you lady`s have a great orgasm then carry on to the beinging and then you don`t need to clean up thumbs up wine

Yes, exactly! Its just never enough.. everything has gone up bar the wages, how can anyone possibly keep up? The average joe is basically fooked.

This whole printing money palava... i dont get it why cant they just print more instead of us having to fork out. National insurance..tax..whats the point! And these starving places like Africa etc.. why does it have to be like that? I know their government spends all their dosh on weapons of mass destruction but hw can they possibly be allowed to do that. The above may sound stupid, cos the answer may be obvious but im just so confused!!

No your right , but when ever you read the papers or have the news on you do hear that the goverment giving money to this country or to that country what gives them the right to do this and make us pay , it also makes me laugh that the goverment are putting road tax up and the only people that will be paying will be the poor , it`s sad that the MP`s , people with money to waste and buy new car`s iver pay a small amount of road tax or if they buy a icoe car they want have to pay road tax at all and the size of the engine dosen`t mater , but people like us that can`t afford to buy new and have to do with their pass me downs have to pay through the nose just to get around .

It`s time for the poor to rise up and bring these people down .
