Hi all! I'd have to say I have no complaints about responses. Seems to be two different types of people on here; those that want to meet thru the forums first and those that meet through e-mail. Personally, I've had more responses from those that don't post in the forums. No idea why, just seems to be that way. As far as who contacts who first, I really don't see where it makes a difference. Presently dating a gal that contacted me first. Interestingly, I had bookmarked her as someone to email and she beat me to the punch. I found it flattering and not unusual at all. Jmo.

Hiya Owen! You go girl! I managed to quit about 7 months ago; if I can quit, anyone can. Started smoking when I was 7 yrs old!!! If the patch doesn't work, or you're having problems, talk to your doc about chamtex. (spelling?) Really worked well for me. Made the cravings manageable. Best of luck to you. (Put the cash you'd normally spend on smokes toward a fantastic vacation!!!)

Really makes me wonder how the government is going to pay for all there doing once everyone gets around to quitting. At $20 + tax on every carton of cigarettes it has to be a huge chunk of change! Btw, I managed to quit this last year. The drug Chantex (??) helped me over the hump finally!

Interesting post. I guess it would depend on what the lie was about - whether I could overlook or not. The posts about "one lie is a dealbreaker" does not apply. So far EVERY single woman I've talked to - that's physically talked to on the phone or in person - has lied about there age. And every single one shaved 5 years off! Weird coincidence?? I understand "Dr. Phil" actually told women to automatically shave 5 years off their profiles!! To be perfectly fair, they ALL fessed up when we talked/met the first time and, personally, I could have cared less. So how do you say one lie is a "deal breaker"???
