First of all, you don't look like you're 39. Good for you.

Are you looking for a commitment? Right now, maybe he's looking for someone with a little more experience. I can almost guarantee you it won't last. Like the previous poster said, a date is not forever. Enjoy!?

Thank you for your compliment...scandinavians never age!
No I am never looking for commitment, friendship is the most valuable thing to me and whatever grows from that is fruitful rather than the expectation of commitment to begin with ...
thanks again I will enjoy..I think my girlfriends are a little negative and this is what put me off..perhaps they are just jealous...

Most people have a connection or drive toward one place or another. Russians have that connection with motherland that never goes away. I've noticed it's somewhat different for women...

No I don't write but I am an artist so painting is my words and my muse.....
The connection to my homeland is strong...actually it has increased since I have aged and become more 'settled' in other ways...My parents live here too but my mother never spoke english for thirteen years...and still has a pigs' head or eels cooking in a huge pot everytime I venture home...lol...no wonder the kids at school never swapped sandwiches with me!
The first time I returned to Norway and Romania..(my mother is from there)....it was as if I had never left...everything made sense for once in a longtime..perhaps our culture runs deeper in our blood than we realise?
P.S...Vodka is my fav drink!!!

Rode around Morocco on a bmw600...far bigger bike than me and I only had my licence for six months...Only stacked it once and broke an ankle...Hickhiked around Australia when I was only 14 years old for three years...had to lie and say I was 19 to work in a bar so I wouldn't starve.

It's a state of mind. The city can be the biggest inspiration and a saddest curse. Just like that glass... half full or half empty
I was born in Moscow ... I miss the big city ...

Yes I know what you mean...I sometimes wake up either feeling lucky or cursed but to me the city is always something I feel a parallel and affinity towards...I love to step onto the sidewalk and be swept up in a sea of people forever moving and rushing towards nothing...
Yes I was born in Norway and as much as I love Australia...it is not my home, culture or history...I sometimes see things I am attracted to and realise that they are reminders to me of a place I miss....

oh Defiantly! "Excuse me" never leaves the lexicon, it's just adapts a little. Reminds me scene from Crocodile Dundee, a perfect description of how a country folks "feel" in a big city.
Nothing is more lonely then to be in New York at rush hour.

Sad isn't it to feel so alone in a city full of so many people...yet alone in the desert one can feel totally at peace..
Kinda like when I was married, loneliest place in my bed at night yet now that I don't share the sheets I am so at peace...

Obviously you have not stayed there long enough. New Yorkers are not rude, we're just more direct.

I think the problem with communication lies with the difference in suburban and city living...One has more time to spend time 'chatting' and sometimes the city is overwhelming for those that are not used to the differences....I have been city based most of my life, Paris, milan, Rome, Cairo, Riyadh etc. and sometimes my 'ways' offends people...but in saying that I do take the time to try and remember that common courtesy is not dead.

Spent time in Sudan near Khatoum in my friends village when he was married...
The innate beauty of Africa and its people will be forever encarved in my heart. I felt myself change, ever so slightly but a shift did happen and now I feel so blessed to have shared such magic in a wonderful country...In time I think it would be best described as becoming 'one' with a land that has the most amazing contrast both georgraphically and spiritually....

If your a look wise person that explains why you are on this site.

I have met so many wonderful men on this site. And I find your statement offensive to them.

I think this is called attention seeking, thinking your a hero for posting something like this. The fact is you sound like your full of hate, spite, and anger. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why your single.

And I can only ask myself if you thought you were so Sh*t hot why dont you put your own photo up for all to see.Enjoy your sad lonely life.

On the leash subject go out and buy yourself a muzzle.

I live in the woods, is that remote enough? Can't have dogs or cats here because the wolves and coyotes eat them.

A garden? The deer and bear finish it off before I have a chance to partake.

I have a dirt driveway that needs constant attention in the summer to keep the mud holes at bay. In the winter it takes three hours to clear the snow with the old snowblower I can barely keep running.

No curtains on my windows. Can't decide on a color. And besides, the deer enjoy watching me working in the kitchen.

I do have indoor plumbing. Quite a luxury! Especially in the winter.

My propane furnace is a secondary source of heat. I usually keep a fire going in my woodstove when I'm home. Cutting wood gives me the exercise that my old bones need to stay flexible.

In case you're interested in tidbits of information, wood warms you three times. Once when you cut it, once when you split it and once when you burn it. Hot dog! Now there's a bargain!

I could go on, but it getting late.

Well it seems living in the city has its similarities.....
No curtains on the windows 'cause voyeurism is rife anyway...
No driveway to tend to because the drunk neighbours take it out every second weekend and land either in the pool or through the fence...the local wolves are certainly to be beware of in the local clubs....central heating...and if you feel cold just go down to the local bar and get amidst the dance floor talent and sweat your ass off!
