I find some people are more photogenic than others. One guy looked better in his photo's than in real life. And yes they were recent.

they are the bonus ones...

I don't get turned away straight up if slightly disappointed...I like to have a conversation and give them the opportunity to express themselves but an obvious lie is a turn off...

True story...My friend dated a 'woman' for some time...one night on the settee they were getting fresh and he had a feel..imagine his surprise when he felt a penis...The 'shemale' was disgusted in HIM that he felt betrayed...

It's interesting for me 'cause I've never felt such positive energy from a group of people I've worked with before--really good people here, supportive, helpful, etc. But the management is just the opposite. Two ends of the spectrum. Well, I guess every job is different. And I'm a rolling stone, have had many jobs, worked many different environments, they are all different, unique.

I've heard that before, that it is the nurses who are the backbone of the profession--but from nurses! Interesting to hear it from a doctor.

Most will never admit it...their own ego desires the praise and some look at nurses as the shit cleaners...I come from a poorer family...I think the silver spoon ones are the worst..NOT ALL I QUOTE..
Nurses rock!!!

He told me over the phone he was 5'11...inches???

I couldn't do what you do--not smart enough for one thing But, as well, the difficulty of dealing with illness, pain and suffering all the time. It is good to have a good working relationship with the people you work with, makes all the deference. With the exception of only one guy outside of management, I get along very well with the people I work with--think they are great people. A big group of us go out once a month or so just to spend time together--we're all expatriots of one country or another. Makes all the day to day shite at work bearable.

Yes definitely need a postive working environment..to have a bond with others that go through the same shite at work is a necessity..someone that we can bounce off ideas...complain with the other party possessing both empathy and understanding..
Anyone can be a doctor..its the nurses that deserve awards...working with kids is tough though..I wish sometimes I could transplant my own heart for a stone...would be a darn sight easier..

Even more so I think. Imagine if all your dreams came true? The fear, I think, is that we mightn't be ourselves.... We'd have to change a lot of things and change is maybe what we are most afraid of.

My son is so clever..yet he is also extremely shy so he holds himself back academically throwing himself just far enough in the shadows..but not too far to be distinctive negatively...
Yes some people I know are so very talented creatively but wish not for any credibility..staying in ones comfort zone is certainly easier.

How are things going at your job? My experience, and most peoples' I think, is that most work places and job situations contain some 'politics'--people not getting along, maniuplations, bullying even, machinations behind peoples' backs, etc. At my current job, it is worse than anything I've ever seen. During the last staff meeting I sat there the whole time with knots in my stomach and just wanting to escape, there was so much arguing, confrontation, and contention--between managment and non-management. This has been building up for some months, with non-management not getting anywhere and to the point I think it's just time to give up and go along with things. Just for peace.

Here's a 'forum' for you to air your frustrations, if you have them, about the politics and other contentious stuff going on at work, if it is. Or, conversely, tell about how nice it is where you are.

Well the medical profession is frustrating to say the least...there is so much pressure to make sure mistakes never happen and in meeting such a huge hour week I find exhaustion to be never far behind me...I actually enjoyed working in sudan more than the western world...I found I was appreciated more and the expectations less...
Most of the other medical staff where I work are men so the dynamics of our working team seems to function postively...
The biggest dilemma I have is staying postive myself above the never ending negativity of illness...

Arguing is negative but what I dislike more is the silent treatment...Men often say women are guilty of it but I have known men that sulk and in bed just turn their back...Those are the moments I wish for an argument...

While I rarely send flowers to, or receive them from anyone but my lady anymore, I have always taken note of the particular flower sent. And, when sending one, I've always tried to match the flower to the sentiment - I thought that's why we were given so many choices to begin with...

thumbs up thanks...a guys reply and a gentleman...I have wondered whether men just send the same flower randomly or actually choose which one for which girl....thanks Kansas..thats the information I was seeking without realising

Seems a weird question but I am always interested in the type of flowers a guy will bring...The roses are always a safe bet but it is nice when they are creative...guess most get the florist to decide anyway...

I wonder why people choose the flowers they do on line...I do purely by colour..

A strange question possibly....does the type of flower you are sent influence your reply in any way...i.e. if a man/woman sends you one of your favourite description or colour...I know I personally notice the yellow sunflowers more so it had me wondering?
