Did the reading, managed to hold it together just about until they lowered her in to the ground and we said goodbye for the last time, that bit beat me.

Gone but never forgotten, always in our hearts.

80's alternative

I think music has become nothing but business these days. Lyrics don't matter...if it has a good beat and a "stars" name singing it, and it makes money, that is all that matters.
Yes, that's true.. if you and I did a stunning duet with fantastic lyrics it probably wouldn't sell because we're not famous, well not yet anyway laugh

Ah but we all say that about the decade of our discoveries.....

Stairway to Heaven.....Zeppelin
Heard it tru the grapevine....Marvin Gaye and even more so Creedence
Dock of the Bay by whoever it was that sang it
Hey Joe....Jimmy Hendrix

and an ever ending list of songs that makes my youth flash past from the haze of times past......

unique......

but then again......

even now there is good music being made...

kisses to u..
I can tell "Dock of the Bay" must be a really memorable one for you if you can't remember who even sang it sticking out tongue

No, I'm only joking. I'm sure it must have been good hug wave

Oh noo, I'm sorry to hear your sad news sad flower

It is a lovely poem but a real tearjerker as well crying

Just try to compose yourself beforehand, take deep breaths and read it

out in your own time and at your own pace thumbs up

No one is going to think any worse of you if you do cry whilst reading

it as I'm sure they'll not be a dry eye there anyway, so try not to

worry too much about it comfort Just do your bestest hug

Do you think that it is possible,,,or maybe even probable that if you have been on a site {this one} for lets say over a year, that though you may be changing and learning that people may still see you in a way that just "Labels" you?? I have thought about this about myself. Though I have been here for two years plus, I have went through many changes....I have felt the friendly chat and support of some and I also have felt a "cool cold" kind of bad feeling,,as though maybe my time has expired. I feel that stigma and then there is the unsaid,,,behind the scene "chat". I even wonder if some people might be more attracted to people that are not active in the forum. ...anyway, just some thinking I have been doing.
I think my time on here expired about 18 years ago. I just hang around in an haunting fashion now as part of the forum furniture & to keep the emoticons company joy giggle
