Noooooooo I am not...I think I was until lately...but I have come to terms and finally dealt with some things I needed to deal with...learned to be more opened minded...trust myself enough to trust another and opened my heart back up again...to allow for mistakes...even big ones...and Noooooooo I don't need alcohol to do it....What I learned is I was soooo afraid of being hurt that I spent more time protecting myself from pain that wasn't even there yet..that I could never open up and give every part of me and all my love to someone else which is what I am asking of my partner...soooooooo I have to be able to do to myself and I am finally at the point where I can do that....I am not saying by any means that I will be perfect or that I won't make mistakes...BUT at least I am the point where I can and am wiling to take the risk to just love...savour the journey and not have to know the destination...I also know that if I get hurt...I won't die from it...

I think a lot of people labor under subconscious inferiority complexes that surface in our behavior as absolutism, pedantic posturing, and a fundamentally narcissistic need for people to be what we want them to be rather than accepting them as they are.

Yeah you are probably right but do you mind? lol Let us live in our delusions some of us are already aware and in spite of that we find other imperfect people to love on, but really this is the exercise of this forum in a sense is to learn to love and get along with others. Most of you it's easy to but I know there are some that I would gladly box up alongside the ears.
