Prediction, by the very definition of the word, is a statement of what will happen
before it takes place. What is often labelled "prediction" by religion is merely
interpretation after the fact. And nonsense like the "bible code" is laughable; it has been shown that Moby Dick can produce just as many "predictions" as the bible.

A real prediction is one that states exactly
what will happen and
when it will happen (time and date) before it happens. Here's one: "George Bush will be arrested for war crimes on August 3, 2009". It would be great if that came to pass, but I won't bet the farm on it.
When the religious can make 100% accurate predictions on a regular basis, they'll have a case. Until then, it's chicken little saying the sky is falling.
