I've been going through and watching his other performances too. Can you imagine selling cell phones one day and singing with Pavarotti the next. My god! The guy is an incredible talent and such a pleasure to listen to. wine

You have to wonder how someone that talented can hide their light under a bushel for so long...

That guy has a totally elite male voice - and that judgment comes from someone who has listened to plenty of opera and classic music sung by the very best. Astounding that someone with that ability would be selling phones.

Goes to show, I think, the role of psychology in how people live their lives. Regardless of how talented you are, your psychology can keep you down.beer Thanks, JB!

It makes you realize how much confidence is in your appearance rather than your talent... when you see some of the pop stars and the incredible lack of talent but the high level of success... it has to make you wonder.

You're so right, J. Total shame that some of our greatest talent is being hidden away because of lack of self-esteem/worth.

This man was great!! And it didn't hurt that he sang one of my absolute favorites by Puccini!!! applause wine

Yeah - having the drive, confidence, sense of self-grandeur, whatever is a necessity for most performers to become popular. There are more gems like this Paul (and that middle-aged lady) hiding away in backrooms and basements (there may even be one under my bed...judging from the colorful moans I often hear at night)... dunno confused blues sad flower
