G4m3rCh1ck: Okay. I used to say that if a woman is raped she should have the ability to choose. I did conceive that way and figured that it would be better to give the child up for adoption than have an abortion. When the day came, they set this beautiful little girl in my arms and I knew at that moment that I could not give her away. She is now nearly seven and in the 98th percentile in her school. She is the most charismatic and happy person I know. It hurts me to say that I actually thought about having her aborted. She is a constant reminder of the guy who did it, but she's looking more and more like me every day.
That is an outstanding example of Humanity and decency - well done, and your daughter will Love you for it.
To use 'rape' as a justifiable reason to abort the life of another does not serve any worthwhile purpose. Aborting a life, will NEVER undo the outrageous act of rape - it will NEVER remove the nightmare endured - yet a woman 'claims' the right to inflict an even greater misery by making a victim of that valuable life, which she claims the right to end. No one has that right, under any cicrumstances. 'Tragic' circumstances which are constantly rolled out as being 'justifiable' are never justifiable, no matter how hard the proponents of Abortion try.
