WOW...what an assessment after just one date!!doh

Sommerauer71: I prefer to stay home anc cook dinner.

You can tell alot about a man when he chops his onions.

For a first date, I would assume I have been asked out. I would not go and dismiss his suggestion and replace it with, "Why don't ya come over to my place?".

So, as much as I like being home, I think making such a suggestion for a first date is err...

...suggestive.JMO

A first date for this lady is always a meeting in a public place with a nice coffee and chat. I don't invite someone i don't know into my home until i know that i would be safe in doing so.
Then again each to his/her own....i don't judge others actions...well not always rolling on the floor laughing

Sommerauer71: I like a man who likes to stay at home.

I'm a home bird.

Why are they cheapies?

Do you measure a man by how much he spends on you? You won't have much luck here, it's a free dating site.

That is why she is on here. She is a cheapy! laugh

I can cook the dinner, provide any movie you like, provide the beverage of your choice(alcoholic or not), I can wash my ass and be sweet smelling, I can even pull a new t-shirt out of the drawer, but clean shaven?????????? LOL

Not sure you knew what i meant by being cheap. I can understand the economy being bad here< I think that if a guy ask a girl out, no matter where he comes from, he should take her out on the first date, if some wanna bring him to their house on the first date, that is them, i ain't meeting a guy for the first time at my house. If he wants to meet me, then he will meet me in a public place and if he is that cheap, dang i will buy my own drink, I think you all took it wrong. I can rent DVD's and stay home by myself, that is not a date, that is being a muncher if you have to do that i think. There are free things to do out here, guess most just do not look at it that way. I am not getting dressed up just to sit at home and watch a DVD, i would do better staying home. lol...I have had dates to where i bought my own food, that is the not the problem, it is that most just wanna stay home, let them stay at their own home and watch their DVD, if after awhile you been dating them for a bit or second date, that is ok, but not the first plz........confused scold

I was waiting for you to talk up for yourself thumbs up

I am with you 100% .

I would NOT stay in on a first date not even a tenth date .

There are lots of inexpensive stuff to to as you rightly say

and I am being honest I when I say that its not about money at all but about norms and values for me .

I would not want to be with a guy who was to mean to spend a fiver on me .I am not that way and am a generous person, so why would I want to be aroung old Ebenezerroll eyes

Good on you Cougar thumbs up

ladyfingers: I see nothing wrong with staying home on a first date if you know the guy well enough to be alone with him on the first date.

As for cheapie...thats ridiculous. With the economy the way it is, I always offer to go dutch if we are going somewhere 'big'.
(usually they say no)

I wouldn't want someone that I'd been chatting on the net with to come to my house the first time.

I do the same and agree with you completely
