No big ones here. Just hanging out with friends, and then hanging out with my sons for Mother's Day on Sunday. Trying to catch up on housework and yard work (weather permitting).

A bunch of friends and I are going out in the boat in the Gulf of Mexico. We will head out to an outer island and find one isolated island with a white sand beach. We will turn up the music; have some beer; swim in the blue/green water; and enjoy the day.

On Mothers day we're taking my mom out for brunch.
Though I plan to make a goofy gift for her too.
I did this when I was five, so I thought it would be funny to do it again now.

Clean house. Pour vodka over fresh pineapple and let it marinate, then chick flicks, pizza and friends over to get drunk whilst watching chick flicks and eating pizza.

Wow somechick, I wish we had an indoor shooting range around here. They are hard to come by these days because of all the DNR requirements.

John,

I am going out in a boat this weekend too. I think I am going to buy it.

I can't drive a car yet, but I can drive a boat. I will just have to pay storage at the pier.

Since mom is no longer alive I try to stay busy during this weekend.

I keep the boat in dry storage in my company's warehouse. You know what 'they' say: The best two days of your life is the day you buy your boat and the day you sell your boat!

I will take each day as it comes & enjoy it. Sometimes time is too precious to plan. But we do the best with what we are given & seem to enjoy every minute, as we are given it.

Took my son to see the new Star Trek movie this evening.
I've not been into Star Trek for many years but this was excellent
and I would recommend it if you are into si-fi-ish stuff. It brings back the old loveable characters again and the new actors have done a great job.

I hope he lets me take him back to see it again tomorrow or I'll throw a tantrum !
