From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig passing by Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan... Many actors have suited up for the role of the Secret Agent with the license to kill, yet the franchise seems to have traveled some bumpy roads over the past five decades with aging actors and unreconciled differences between the producers and actors. But it seems that we still haven't seen the end of James Bond as every time an actor is chosen to reprise the role with ever more success than his predecessor.
I personally think that the producers had made a big mistake when the booted Brosnan off the franchise. That man could have gone on as James Bond for the next 20 years! Well.

Who is your favorite? And why?

Also, is there an actor out there that you think would make a perfect Bond?

I agree with all of your answers, guys ( and gals! ). True, Sean Connery seemed to have been born for the part!
I liked Roger Moore's humor and tongue in cheek approach to the character.
Timothy Dalton just didn't strike me as the 007 type, I was glad when they replaced him.
Ever since his role on TV in the 80's, my brother and I have said the Brosnan could portray Bond nicely and indeed he did!
Daniel Craig is alright but a blond James Bond?? I don't know about that! Still, Casino Royal and the latest one are two very good films.

I have to say, as a man, I like most of the Bonds. Of course, I look to the story and how good the movie is before I get picky on the actor.
Never been much of an idolater.

So, it seems that the ol'Connery gets the vote...very well.thumbs up

It's mostly a guy thing, dear. Just for us with a certain sense of humor and some tongue-in-cheek-sex-innuendo attitude.

Granted, it can be mindless sometimes, but the political and financial intrigues are well portrayed, if you care about that kind of stuff.
And the gadgetry is really avan-garde, almost impossible, but still, I've seen more laughable things than that.

I don't watch much TV either.

James Bond movies appear at the theaters first. TV ruins everything with their commercials, hate TV.
