somechick: There are some things I feel alot more comfortable about telling/sharing with/to my man friends then I do my woman friends.They seem to be more trustworthy and alot less judgemental.


I agree totally and men seem to be less of the back stabbing kind of gender. Women get catty, say you are their best friend, then run to a mutual female friend and talk about you. I trust my male friends much more so than my female friends......

how to explain an unexplainable differences between the sexes which we understand, but can also drive some people crazy at the same time. It's there, it exists and we live with it as we choose.

Yup,I've witnessed the very same thing you descirbe here going on in shopping center isles etc where women are talking behind another womans back and then when they happen to run/see that very same person they're gossiping about all of a sudden they become all nicey nicey and chummy chummy.

sxc666: After a conversation my Daughter and I had last night. How many of you have more opposite sex friends.I find I get along better with men than women and always have, my eldest Daughter is the same.

So I was wondering do men find themselves in this situation at times and how many of you ladies are the same.And if so why do you think we can relate more to the opposite sex as friends yet not in a relationship?

I have dear male friends but wouldn't think of entering a relationship with them.


I've had more male friends than female ones most of my life. This is the first time that the reverse is true, and most of it is because of the amazing women from around the US and the world that I've met here on CS. I'm enjoying it. wine

Mine has been since High School I would hang with the boys more than the girls............not that I was ever a tom boy, but I just found them more interesting and not as girlie, bitchie if you know what I mean..

thats an honesty/character issue
its a not willing to have a conversation issue
