I don't believe in Darwins theory.

And I don't think she's joking.

We are still both.

For those who come to study us one day.

No not joking. I just have wondered about the answer to that.. so far as I know, there has never been an answer. Or has there?

It's easy to dismiss Darwin as the perpetrator of a hoax ,yet all of the Biological Sciences are now based on Evolutionary theory....
The hoax is what you hear on Religeous T.V.

Ok.. let me ask this another way? bing bang theory... accidental birth? then how do we explain such complex things as DNA.. fingrprints.. etc etc..

first of all it is not "Darwin's theory" it is called Evolution and idea's of common decent have existed since 6 century BC. Furthermore it is based upon common ancestry from from a common Gene pool. Human are basically a different leg of that descent as are the apes, monkey, and gorilla's we see today. Now we do have common ancestry with those species, but we did not evolve from the ape you see in the zoo.

Well, we didn't exactly evolve from primates as we know them now. But a creature similar in appearance.
Or so I've heard.
Meh.
I just wish I had the prehensile tail. I could so be a great pickpocket.

Pretty intense - we share some dna strains with the apes, monkey and gorillas but it doesn't mean that we are the same.

I am not sure about all of the above. If your worried about science removing God from the equation. Don't...God can and does exist within all, your intellect, your reason. God doesn't battle the big bang theory or evolution, neither should you.

After the apacolypse something has to ensure the human tradition continues. "The meek shall inherit the earth."

Darwin relied on the principle of Normal Variation. He did so reluctantly ,but it was the best he could do at the time...
Now the agent of change is Mutation brought on by any sort of Radiation, generally solar...
CHANGE--Though Random--is necessary to drive the process, and is very much a part of it...
One generation from now your clergyman will say:Of course God is the creator...But Evolution was his METHOD
SHEESH
Read the curriculum....Then watch it change.

There may or may not be a god or many gods. I dont understand why "mystics" challenge tested theories with untestable ideas that were first written in a time of witches and wizards.

Because I wanted monkeys, apes and gorilla's and would throw a huge tanty if i didnt get my way...so Darwin left some for my benefit...grin

There are common ancestors.......... and we are primates, no doubt - we are the most intelligent apes around....... and i am a cheeky monkey! grin

Apes ARE still evolving - and so are we.......... soon our legs will be little stumpy useless thingies and our brains will flop to one side or the other because our necks won't be strong enough to hold them!

ever see the movie Wall-E?
The people in there could be a good redition of what we may become.

I have asked myself this question about religion. My best guess is that he who can control God (or at least dictate to others what God is) can and do control others. To me that is the base function of Religion (control). Why do think leaders and politicians throughout time have leveraged religion to increase their power.

Science in it's purity has no interest in power or control that is why it has always been a threat.
