To those whose fathers are no longer with you,

.I dread the day I get the call.
I hope those who have a dad still alive who deserves it,will think of those who wish thier father was still here and remember to tell your father what he means to you. My dad is 83,still healthy and active. He lives in a state far from me. I am still his Daddy's girl at 54. I write him a poem each holiday and email it to him. I gave up the store gifts when I was about 22. Started doing things like, his laundry or a dinner out my treat. Wrote a tribute to him and it hangs in his home office. So many gifts we can give and they don't all cost $. I only wish I could have through the yrs. bought my dad a sailboat. He always wanted 1 but never bought for himself. I never have been in a position to have done that, but that is 1 that $ can buy that would be thoughtful and appreciated.
To any fathers out there in forums, I wish you HAPPY FATHERS DAY.
