Unfortunately all that applies only to some. For example, there are coal mining towns throughout China and Russia where the inhabitants know nothing more than going up and down shafts every day and dying in nasty accidents. Nice what you're saying but so often the lives of such "inspired" and "successful" people are only possible because of this world's more uninspired and unsuccessful working classes. Just take a look at all of those phoney "award ceremonies" for phoney celebrities on TV...Could you ever imagine an "award ceremony" on TV for any of those coalminers...? The smell of sweat alone would be enough to put most people off! What can we do...? Just enjoy and ignore what goes on behind the scenes. I enjoy driving my car along the country roads of Sweden but I have to ignore the large bomb that exploded in Iraq today, killing about seventy...
In response to: Everyone has something that they do uniquely well and often better than most everyone else. Our ability to find and "do what we love, and love what we do" is the singular most important variable when it comes to "success" in our careers and in life in general. As children growing up we are often discouraged from pursuing our passion and are "dumbed down" (so to speak) to do things that are practical, make sense, and are tried and true. That is the formula for a boring life. True living and true adventure comes when we dance to our own rhythm and follow our heart's true desire. I hope there is something that inspires you to risk giving up the mediocre life for a great life. Why not?
