I can recall years ago (being about 23 years ago) I was learning morse code as part of my education and marvelling at those who could copy or understand entire words while I struggled at counting dits and dahs.....funny because while perusing through your text, I found no trouble. I also recall that the easiest way to pass my "sound" tests was to be completely exhausted and carefree about all, which allows one's brain to not delve deep into anything, but rather just look ( or in my case at the time, hear) at the matter at hand.
