bestbefore: I left this site a few months back because I hated all the back stabbing and bitchiness but kept in touch with the forums, which are there for all to read, member or not.So beware the world is watching you not just "Big Brother". I have noticed that most of the really malicious people have long since departed or been ejected so am back again hopefully to enjoy some pleasant banter though I'm sad that Mercedes and Shedman are no longer around.

somechick: I've often asked myself this question. Why would someone want to knowingly and purposely hurt another human being? I've seen this very same thing happening within this site.

I think that it is because they have a chip on their shoulder and they have a low self esteem. When they feel so rotten about themselves they feel that they have to be mean to others so that they don't look so bad next to other people. If you ever notice, those type of people usually attack happy people, and I think that is because they are envious and they don't know how to be happy and they are jealous about the joy and love that happy people have in their lives and they want to take it away. So they will do any thing and everything to try to make that person miserable. Mean people try to make others look bad so that they look good, but in fact they are only making themselves look like a complete fool and people catch on to their behavior and know that if they talk about you that way they are taking about them that way also. I think that it is really sad that these kind of people are not confronted and stopped. I always confront people like this and point out how simple they look and how insecure they look. I also point out that no one likes them because they are mean. This usually will change them or shut them up. Sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire.
I sometimes try so hard to understand why so many human beings do find it easier to be critical and mean and hostile, instead of being nice, but I never seem to get to any valid explanation. Maybe because they express their inside furies and frustrations by trying to make others feel lousy too, or maybe because they just don’t care about the way their reactions affect the others.

Could it be because they're so angry or could it be the society in which we live in, and ALL the the * Negative * things that we are exposed to on a daily basis ? People have become desensitized. Maybe it's because of something that happened in their personal lives to make them that way. I just don't know.

Sommerauer71: Hi best. Nice to see you, I know where they are. Merc and Jon. I have been racking my brains to think about this thread, since Anna first posted and I cannot come up with anything. People are cruel, jealous, nasty and seem to thrive on it. I find that many people cannot debate very well here. On the whole though, I enjoy it here and the days are long gone when I get myself wrapped up in a squabble. Simple answer is for me to step over anything that I know would cause me a problem.

Glad to know Merc and Jon are still strong. There is nothing anyone can say about other people's behaviour.We all have our own opinions and the world would be a dull place if we were all like lemmings playing follow the leader,as some did, only to commit C.S. suicide! Most of the debates and discussions are great and really stretch the imagination! Long live the forums!

Ashes: Yes, it´s tough, and sometimes hurts alot, but I have learnt through some very nice Friends I have made here...to simply not Post if they are on...as they obviously NEVER agree with me, or simply don´t answer at all.
Guess they are just bored people, who obviously gang up on certain ones....I truly don´t care anymore, just enjoy reading, and If i want to Post, I do, regardless of what may be answered or not!

mnowsa: Talking about being mean, i don't mind if a woman is as mean as a witch because it can also mean that the meaner she is, the more compassionate she can be...hehehe
