moongirl7: I want to buy a wok but am not sure which kind is best. Stainless steel or triple ply carbon steel is the question. And if stainless steel is best does it still need to be seasoned. And tips for seasoning woks would be appreciated. I hear they don't sell cast iron ones anymore but they were best if a bit unwieldy. thanks in advance
When you buy your wok, it should have directions for seasoning.
I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I never use soap in mine, just wash it good with hot water and it's good to go next time.
I love my wok....same with cast iron.
