This section is dominated by music, we should add a little art discussion from time to time. If your favorite artist is a musition then what the f!!!, that will be fine to.

After going to Spain I felt in love with Antoni Gaudi; for an Impressionist I like Claude Monet; the british artist Thomas Gainsborough is one of my favorites; and, finally I love Rembrandt.

I go to art museums all the time when I travel.

The finest art I've actually seen was a showing of Claude Monet's late period here at the Portland Art Museum. The paintings are nothing but blobs of color up close because he was almost blind, but if you step back a little from them, they resolve into some of the most beautiful paintings I've ever seen. thumbs up

I lived in Sitges for a bit, gotta love Gaudi, and can't argue with Monet. But I have been most effected by Marcel Duchamp, and I also really like the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

I sculpt, so I would have to say Micheloangelo.
My daughter has seen these sculptures and
said the children had body's adults with children's faces.
That was a complement to me.

Being a bit biased, my son is my favorite artist! (He's in post-grad art school now, has had a number of shows and sold some of his work. Yes, I'm a proud Mom, but he does indeed have a gift).
Otherwise, I am most fond of Renoir, Van Gogh, and Monet. As for scultures, I love the work of Praxiteles and Michelangelo.

I sculpt also, the way i scetch lends itself easily to sculpture being that i envision the image as a 3d object,

What a wonderful gift you gave your son. My mother said my sculptures were trash. Once when they were in the local museum did she call them art. bouquet

Hands down it would be the "Group of Seven" Lawren Harris. Followed by Robert Bateman. Musically would be Pink Floyd!
