Here's a very cool video I found on Y.tube.
It shows a day (24 hr time-lapsed)in the life of
the sun up north.It's taken in a community
not far from where I live.It's accompanied
by the fiddling music of the late F.Cockney;
his music was and is timeless.
This is our land,this is our music;
I hope you enjoy the clip.

That is cool...

we can see the 'northern lights' from here, certain times of the year...

but it gets pretty dark out here on the prairie.

Never been quite that far north, but I have experienced near 24 hour sun here in northern Alberta. It's not that much further to Tuk from where I was at, and the days are pretty long here at home right now.

I'll miss that part of living here when I go, but not the winters where it's dark for 18 hours of the day.

We still have a lot of daylight,
but it's going shorter and

Dare I ask what Quak might be? Hopefully it's fermented or better yet warm and fuzzy on a cold,cold night or both...
cool

Days are getting shorter here too, already. But it is light when I get up and a few hours of light left when I get home after a day shift (I work 12 hour shifts). For now. In the winter, it 'feels' like it's dark all the time. laugh
