BebeII: As I said earlier, it's too soon to tell the real reason she stepped down. She may feel it's unfair to the citizens there to be a constant source of controversy and prefers to allow the Lt. Gov. take over. She does have a downs-syndrome child to raise which isn't easy, and a grandchild.
I think you hit the nail on the head. That seems, to me at least, to be more consistant with her personality. I wish certain people would get a life and see the glass as 1/2 full for a change. She could be a Demo and people would still find something wrong with her.
