I think it would be a different story for each one of us. It would probably have loads of loads of and the urge for a happy ending with a few . And for my story, I've been applying for this face to face conversation with their god for so long, i'm beginning to think he's afraid of me.

You've got to steal those commandments from another book first. Just like Moses did with the 40 negative Confessions of Ma'at in the book of the dead.

Just one of the things contained in the (my) athiest story.

The entire Bible has no veracity. It's a copied myth. There is nothing origional other that the names. It's all been done before. From creation (The sumerians had they're "A-Dom" made from mud), to the Flood (The Epic of Gilgamesh can be read along side the stry of Noah--it even has a dove and raven...oh and did I mention the boat?), and even the virgin birth of Jesus, his miracles, and his death and resurrection are copies.

Dionysus changed water into wine.

Vspatian cured a blind man with spittle.

Pythagoras died and resurrected.

And so on and so on.....

I think the point with life is to live it, and not spend your whole life thinking why you are living it. The latter part gets in the way of the former, while the former gives me room not to care the slightest whether there is a God or not, which fills me much more than any feeling of there being a God. I'm safer in living a good life by not spending any time convinced there is one.
