Will this Coup be accomplished without blood?
No mutiny within the military?
No uprising by the various free militia,who idealogue and train for just such an eventuality?
No underground opposition with a loud voice?All I hear are whimpers.Will they turn to sceams or just silence?

and that would be the outset of the revolution....

The young have energy, but no experience. I'd rather not see them in charge of anything, thank you.

how many of our western allies
are abandoning democracies
and embracing socialism..
giving up rights
to support big brother government...
bloodless coups..

we are a nation of laws..
good people that believe in the system..
if we do not like a policy..
it can be changed in the voting booth...
what we cannot see clearly
is that the rules are being changed...slowly..

would anyone be surprised
if one day land was
given to one of the nations
carrying our debt...?

we have watched in our lifetime
a virtual army of people
from other countries
cross our borders and establish
sanctuaries...near hostile to american laws..
numbers of folks changing the balance
of our voting system...
with the blessing of our government..
and our taxes support their actions...

has our vote corrected this issue...?

where is the voice of opposition..?

all i hear is silence..

all i see is slowly eroding change...

What happens when it is too late to affect policy in the voting booth?Some say that day is here,or even that it has been for a long time.If you think so then name the Who and When.

i had to consider this question for a bit...

i went back in history til present..

pre and post civil war..
carpetbaggers.. ghettos...
the industrial revolution..
the great depression...
the korean and viet nam wars...
the civil rights movement..
the hippie revolution...
sex drugs and rock and roll...
nixon,,, clinton , bush, and present..
big oil, big business,big welfare,
failed borders, and bailouts...
desperately trying to name
the who and the when...
although i do not believe it is too late,
the patient is sick.
a reality check is in order...

this is my answer...

those of us with alcoholics
or drug addicts will hear this i hope..
we are a nation of good people...
in a way we want to be superheros
of all the wrongs in the world...
we also want our creature comports...

the enemies of democracies
know this and so they know
our weakness...
when an illness shows itself in america..
some package is presented,
with the promise of making it go away.
it seems good, it seems easy...
only 1 cent added to our taxes...
ahhhh.. why not...

over and over we have has a people
in the name of "doing the right thing"
done the wrong things..
instead of making the country healthy...
we have enabled its illnesses ..

the founding fathers crafted documents
and laws, that created a country
which championed a strong individual...
took off the collar and leash
of big government...
and with that freedom to grow...
america grew...

as we grew in strength we also grew in sickness...

and how the sick cried out...

and the hearts of americans
like the hearts of well intentioned
family members of addicts...
we bailed out, hired attorneys...
threw money at problems...
begged the government to make the
ugly things go away...

the price...
our freedoms...

the guilty
the people....

the cure....
tough issues do not go away
without pain...and honesty...

and pray........................

Our biggest problem is that we believe that we can solve every problem.

every superhero has a weakness...

I seriously doubt it will happen in my lifetime..

Very few people in the U.S. have the balls to stand up to their employer let alone the Fed Gov...

Makes me wonder why I bothered to do some of the things in life I have done..

when,it comes to that,they know nobody,will vote them out!best,we can do is gridlock,every 2yrs.vote congress/house to Rs,i vote for the person,then they let you down,votem out.

weve,been heading,that way,since fdr,put new world order.on paper money!

us,old hippies sold out,the dream has died.your right,we wont fight back,they count on that.

The US government gets basically all their supplies from independent contractors. You want to stop the military, stop feeding them. Cut off their food, stop making their weapons, cut off their clothing, stop driving supply trucks to them...etc.

The poor are going to rise up - nothing like a growling stomach to fuel a revolution.

Unbacked paper money,The value of which is determined by the central government....No good way to store value,since that same government can manipulate the price of any commodity including gold and silver....Food and ammunition being stockpiled with the potential of replacing worthless currency as the medium of exchange....even a repudiation of private ownership of land by taxing it into impossibility.....

Far-fetched? Orwelian paranoia?

The new American Revolution will no doubt go the route as any other revolution in human history. Good on paper, bad in practice. It changes nothing to change the faces and not change the nature behind the faces.

Idealists start revolutions. Realists and opportunists hijack them for their own personal gain.
