My favorite has to be has to be Herodomus Bosch's Garden of earthly delights. I've spent a lot of time contiplating the meaning of the piece.

Dega's Ballerina taking her applause.

A lot of memories going back 27 years, and it is a truly vibrant and beautiful likeness.

Welcome back, Dennis. Haven't seen you around in a while. wave

My favorite piece of art is a modern art piece that hangs in my living room. It's of a blurred city skyline near the water (at least that's what it looks like it is), done on a red background, and it has a ton of movement and energy, and lots of color. I can gaze at it for hours and still find it beautiful.

Nice to be back and a pleasure to see you again. I wish my favorite piece hung in my living room. I'd be tempted to sell it but would have to stare at it for a few years first.

Swan Lake and its music are as beautiful as Degas' paintings. And yes, I love them too. They evoke the beauty of that art well.

There was a time when my toe shoes still hung above my bed. But I packed them away finally...along with that young girl.

Snuggs09: Mona Lisa

Not sure why.

Have you ever noticed that she has no eyebrows? This painting is the most reconised painting on this planet, but Davinchi disliked it and put it in his attic. There is a nude of her also ,,,somewhere. Mona lisa is not her real name ,i forget her real name. The nude was last known to be in LouisIV's collection.

Pretty well anything by Charlie Russell.

I have one of his prints and I just love it!
I hate to sound trite but my favourite piece of art is my dog. smitten She's truly "poetry in motion" when she moves with her elegant, confident, sound and effortless steps, tail up, head lifted and neck arched, nose up "scanning" the wind for any exciting smells of birds... "A picture of grace, speed, stamina, alertness and balance" as the standard describes... And when she freezes on point, it truly makes you teary-eyed how beautiful these animals can be. I can't take my eyes off her when we go for walks, and always think I am truly blessed with my own piece of art right by my side.
