I think we do more than you could imagine. I am surprised that no one has really come up with anything good obama has done.

Sad to say, i have but I am waiting to see if anyone figures it out before I post his accomplishments.

Okay.. I told you I'd think about it. And I did.
And there is something positive that Obama has done.

Obama managed to get a lot of younger people interested in politics. In taking a stand. In voting. I think that's amazing and important and I love to see young people with a desire to make a change in their world. Regardless of whatever the end result of that may be, I think it's a huge positive!

Bingo.... that is one thing on my list.

It truly is a great thing.

No use posting the good things he has done since you will clearly refute it with empty opinions.

No President would be able to step into the shit storm that Obama did and magically turn things around within months.

Are you guys that stupid? Do you have a grasp about how bad the global economy is? It's a monster out of control. Nobody can grasp it right now and the snowball was rolling long before Obama took office.


Agree with you.......Except on the 'You people don't get things'..would rather have worded as so......'Some people don't get things'..And No disrespect to the America people here ....Sometimes I think you American's don't look at the bigger picture and think, hang on minute here,How are other Countries coping..???..How are they doing...????.What are they doing to minimize the fallout from this Financial melt down....????

True, but I still consider it a great thing. Complacency in politics isn't just a "youth thing" but waking people up had to start somewhere. And he did that.

The HUGE problem that Obama and the Left doesn't understand is that you don't panic and spend like an idiot, to "fix" the financial fallout--especially when in human history has it NEVER WORKED FROM WITHIN A SPECIFIC COUNTRY. (The most glaring example is Japan spending like mad during the DECADE of the 90s to try and "fix" their severe economic crisis, only to realize it didn't work...again.)

I have heard that Europe is already making progress in combating this crisis as well as China and Russia.

Too bad Bush and Dick had such a long run ........just served to f%$k things up almost to the point of no return .....

I wouldn't say that really is an accomplishment.... Yes he is black and yes he is president, but he is just as much white and is president. It wasn't his choice or anything he did to be black.

well i can think of quite a few things obama has done for this country so far

he has expanded children's health insurance to reach more kids
he has signed the fair pay act(lily ledbetter act)
he has given us a withdrawal date for iraq(aug 2010)
he signed the stimulus bill...which i see working all over my state now...
he set a date to close quantanamo bay....
need anymore...i got plenty...

he has made the auto industry rethink and restructure for the future
he has also put more money into clean energy then any president ever...

I feel given the chance and the time he can do alot more..... just wait and see....

I couldnt agree more with you, he is extremely white washed. However if you ask many other afican americans they consider it a major accomplishment for a black man to be a sitting president.
So I guess his race being a political milestone is questionable as well as opinionated.

The green agenda is going to be putting thousands out of work in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio and only creating hundreds of jobs.

Apparently he and his Administration are learning form their errors:

President Barack Obama and his advisers do not favor second stimulus package now to cut the highest U.S. unemployment rate in nearly 26 years, Vice President Joe Biden said in an interview aired on Sunday.

Looking back to January when Obama took office, Biden said: "The truth is, we and everybody else misread the economy ... We misread just how bad the economy was."

"So the second question becomes, did the economic package we put in place, including the Recovery Act, is it the right package given the circumstances we're in? And we believe it is the right package," Biden told ABC's "This Week" in an interview taped during a trip to Iraq.

Asked if another stimulus package was needed, Biden said, "I think it's premature to make that judgment."
