Are very silky, soft , Love to be petted like a cat, Purr funny, though. Have better hearing than the dog.
Yes I do know. I was Blessed enough to hold and pet one one night when my dad was alive, is in one of my early posts some where.

Actually they make great pets. You need to get them desented though. They tend to have accidents when startled.bouquet

Yes, I can just imagine their Dad's face. Mine was sitting right next to me in the dark when the "Cat" hopped up on my lap and was getting the petting of his life.

Dad said "Which one is it?". I said "I dont know, Dad, but it is one of the long hairs. His purr feels funny and his paws are bigger."

Dad said "ok well the yard light will come on in a few minutes we will see which one it is then."


When the yard light timer clicked Dad was the first to see. He grabbed my chin and pulled my face up so I could not see the cat.

He said " Cj, what ever you are and have been doing keep doing it". I tried to look and he would not let me. " I was like Daaaaaaad"

He said "look at me", I did, He said "You are holding a Skunk"

I started to freeze and Dad was "No, no don't do that just do what you have been doing"

I kept petting him he kept rubbing up against my face and when he was done he hopped down rubbed against my legs adn walked off.

My Dad, let out the biggest pent up breath and collapsed against the house. With the greyest face I ever saw.

So yeah, I can just imagine their Dads face.hug hug hug
