I married into a family of Republicans. We agree on some things. Others we agree to disagree.

Faith, be it in a higher power or in one's self is a very personal thing. Still there are many here on both extremes that seem to feel justified in being abusive of anyone who dares to believe differently than they do.

I don't get that.

Sometimes we need to know when to break suction , and simply walk away from the keyboard right ?

For those of us who know each other on this site, we know how to push each other's buttons - but in the end we almost always agree to disagree ........ hell , what's the point of bad feelings ?

But, I have to admit ........... there are a few on this site that need a serious hour at the whipping post to teach them the world isn't their comode to crap in ...........

It's because of education and life experience, or rather the lack of them.

When someone resorts to abuse and anger it shows a lack of understanding due to a lack of education, it never fails to amaze me that most of those who show the greatest degree of abuse are the ones who profess to have Master degrees or similar, what bullshit, they are just like a baby that’s thrown it's toy from the pram.
As to whether they are the same in RL, well I would agree with Morgan, they can hide behind a screen here whereas they are most probably a coward when face to face with someone.
